Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Illinois River

Cute place for two adults, a 6 y/o and 2 poodles. Our stay was one night and this place was perfect for a stop in west central IL

We had a excellent stay. It was clean and ready to use.

Can't recommend this place enough. Serene surroundings overlooking the river; watching the barges float by and fish jump was the perfect way to relax. Between the deck, patio, and lower patio, there was always a place to sit and take in the view. Bed was EXTREMELY comfortable, and location was 15-20 minutes from anything you could need in Peoria. Can't wait to return!

My two sisters and I enjoyed our stay. It was so comfortable and homey and had everything we needed. I especially loved the very hot water in the shower and the heater in the ceiling above the shower.

We have booked Marissa’s home several times because we really like the cleanliness, location and all the amenities that the home offers.

This place was amazing. Not only was it huge & spacious, there was so much history involved with it that was truly amazing. We stayed with our 2 Yorkies and there was ample room for them to go outside to use the restroom. If we're ever passing through the area again, we'd definitely return to stay! We had a wonderful time at this house! Very easy to get in with just a code. As soon as we walked in the place felt fresh and inviting. A big yard for dogs to run around ours loved it! The only thing I will say about the fence is that at the corners of the yard there were just small fences that dogs could easily knock over or jump over. Other than that we used the grill and sat on the patio space which was very relaxing. The town of Lincoln is very quaint and quiet which we loved, with a yummy ice cream place and coffee shop. There are also beautiful nature areas like Kickapoo creek park. We actually ended up getting engaged there on our hike! This place will forever be very special to us and had nothing but a good experience with the place and host.

Very tidy and cozy house. Super nice and helpful hosts. Everything is beyond my expectation. Due to the dust storm, it took me much longer time and finally arrived near midnight. Andy & Lynn waited and helped me. I'm very grateful. Arthur is also a nice town. I wish I could stay longer.

I don’t think I can put in words, what you are getting when you stay here and at that price too! Plenty of space, water and snacks and a huge yard for the kids to run around on. The direction Priscilla gave were needed as Apple Maps took me to not the right house, google maps was spot on but with her directions, we were right as rain. We were only there for one night but it seems like there is enough to do in the town that I could see us coming back for some more time. We would recommend this place to anyone! Thanks again!

I have stayed several times with Elena and Justin, but this was my first stay in Hermit’s Hideaway. It was beautiful, and had a great layout. I especially enjoyed the oversized shower and kitchen layout. This unit was pristine in cleanliness as the other units always are.

The place was nice and clean. The host was responsive and helpful.

I absolutely LOVE this home. I've stayed in dozens of vacation rentals and this is one of my absolute favorites. It's simple but has everything you could possibly need for your stay. The home is quiet and comfortable, and the view from the front room picture window is amazing. I travel to Springfield IL 2-3 times each year and I always try to book this place.

Amazing place! So much bigger than we anticipated and really great value. The host had recommendations for places to go and local restaurants. Very nice and responsive.

this was the perfect Airbnb for my friend, and I when we went into town and saw REO Speedwagon. Barb went above and beyond and even had snacks in the room for us and everything else to make us comfortable and feel welcome. She met us there on our arrival and was so friendly and helpful! her place was very clean and on the outside there was a nice area to sit and enjoy the evening and morning with beautiful flowers and nice atmosphere! Barb went above and beyond to make us feel at home and to be helpful in anyway she could. I would absolutely 100% recommend this Airbnb and hopefully if my friend and I ever return to Champaign we will be staying at this Airbnb! Thanks, Barb

Great stay at this peaceful property on Lisbon Road. The house was clean, spacious, and had all the essentials for a comfortable visit. The rural setting was quiet and relaxing, yet still close enough to town for convenience. The host was friendly and responsive, making check-in easy and stress-free. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet getaway near Morris!

We stayed here for two weeks while waiting to get into our home after relocating here for a new employer.

She was amazing. She went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. She had cleaned the hot tub after the last customers left and since it wouldn’t be ready by our check-in, she knocked off $25! She toured the space and explained everything in detail. Told us of some things to do and where to go. Plenty of clean towels, plenty of pillows, blankets. 10/10 would def recommend. Will prob book for a second time in the future!!
