Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Illinois River

We have stayed in Carissa’s place a few times while visiting family. Love this house and the location. I have noticed she also keeps making updates to her Airbnb to make it even better every time like changing and adding furniture. Clarissa’s house has always very clean and welcoming. My family & I will always stay here every time we come back to Macomb!

Great place. Fit our needs well. The little extras were nice and appreciated. Looked newly updated with some originals left to give the charm of the age of the house. The stairs in particular. You could tell they were the original stairs. That being said, as others had stated, if you have trouble with stairs you might not like these stairs. There are a few trains that go by behind the house and do blow their horns. It can startle you the first couple of times. They do provide earplugs. One of those nice, thoughtful items. I would just suggest maybe leaving some on bedside nightstands with a note about the trains. We had 10 people staying and it was comfy and roomy. The arcade games and play station were some more added fun features that were enjoyed. For being a dog friendly place, I was impressed with the cleanliness. The provided doggie bags for clean up, treats, bowls, poof, and more made our furbaby feel right at home. We all enjoyed our stay there! Thanks Josh and Casey(sp.?)

We thoroughly enjoyer our stay. The home is lovely, and we were particularly impressed with spices, a Shark vacuum and other items left in rhe home to make our stay comfortable and convenient. Also, Aurora's communication was outstanding.

We really enjoyed our stay. We were looking for a peaceful get-away, and our stay in this charming bungalow did the trick!

As soon as we walked in, the house felt like home. The house was very clean as well as towels and linens. Being the house was built long ago, it had charming features. We had a rainy day and had a blast staying in and playing ping pong and air hockey! Elaine was a great host. We ate at Fire on Fifth and Jorge’s Margaritas & grill. Thoroughly enjoyed both restaurants. Thank you Elaine!

visited savoy for work and couldnt find a place to stay. decided to check Airbnb and found this gem. not far from where I was going. cozy rooms, a big kitchen, ample amount of room in the house a beautiful backyard, spacious rooms, and the extra room all placed in the most peaceful and quiet neighborhood. the perfect place to unwind and enjoy yourself, family and friends. loved it and would recommend to anyone out there.

The Poolhouse is my new favorite getaway outside of Saint Louis! The location is quiet/secluded on ten beautiful acres and we felt like were in the middle of the nowhere with no neighbors. The poolhouse itself is very modern, comfortable, and has all the amenities needed for a several night stay (great heating/cooling, heated pool, beautiful showers, big screen TVs, comfortable beds). The host is very responsive, professional, and even accommodated an early check in time for us. I wish we could have stayed an extra night! Absolutely recommend a multi day stay here.

We had our 9 person family here with our 3 dogs and the space was perfect. Lots of games and pool time for the kids and adults alike. The charcoal grill was hard to get right but we are just not used to dealing with that type of grill! Lots of hiking in nearby areas.

Richard's place was great and as described. We will stay there again when in the area.

Kendra place was really nice and I felt right at home

My husband and I took my 9 yr-old niece and 12 yr-old daughter on a little lakehouse vacation. We enjoyed our stay...and the girls loved the heated pool (the lake water was still very cold at the end of May). On a cool and cloudy afternoon, we enjoyed a couple hours at the Arena Trampoline Park, an inside activity-area with trampolines, obstacle courses, slides, climbing wall, and bouncy soccer and basketball courts. We also loved our pickleball time 2 days in a row....and the area parks and restaurants. The girls swam until dark most evenings...and then especially enjoyed sharing a room that included a library of children's movies to watch on an old VHS player....they were mystified at the process. Lol! My husband and I loved the sun room, our favorite part of the lakehouse...sipping coffee, quiet conversation, perfect view to keep an eye on the girls as they swam and such peaceful outdoor scenery with the trees and lake. So many memories!

Sean has a unique and private piece of land and home and was a really fun place to stay w my friends

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is in a quiet, pet friendly neighborhood with lovely views of the river. Everything we needed was provided and we liked the layout of the house. Regarding sleeping accommodations, there are beds for 6 people (2 queens with twin bunks above each) and additional sleeping options are provided via a pull-out sofa and 2 futons.

Great stay and we will stay again in the future when we visit family. Looks just like the pictures, the bed was very comfortable, the pull out couch worked great for our kids. LOVED the coffee provided and appreciated the free drink at the restaurant downstairs!

The place was absolutely beautiful and vintage which i loved. It was very clean and we even found that the place provided so much stuff including many options for shower stuff to use. It was kept very clean and organized. Would highly recommend and stay there again! My partner and i were in town for a musical festival for a few days and it was the perfect place for it.

We loved this house! It was a great place for our family, with everything we needed, including a couple of baby gates to help us corral our three year old and little doggie. Such a charming home with a beautiful little fenced in yard in a peaceful, friendly neighborhood, close to Glen Oak Park and all its fun activities. The hostess was always friendly and responsive to our online questions and made check in and check out a breeze.

Kristina was amazing at making sure me and my guests had what we needed. My guests received many great amenities and if we had known our furry friends could have come we would have brought them in a heartbeat 🤍 thank you so much for sharing your wonderful serenity with us!

The place was better then expected! Beautiful home out in the country... out problems were phones went in and out when trying to find the house so write down direction.. its easy to find then.. also because im old and crazy we locked ourselfs out.. never lock the bottom lock ugh.. anyways adrin was the best! so nice to be out in the country and saw the strawberry moon!

I absolutely LOVE this home. I've stayed in dozens of vacation rentals and this is one of my absolute favorites. It's simple but has everything you could possibly need for your stay. The home is quiet and comfortable, and the view from the front room picture window is amazing. I travel to Springfield IL 2-3 times each year and I always try to book this place.

Loved this little cabin! It was clean and we felt right at home. Great communication from the host and she even let us hang out a bit after check out. This was huge because we got in after dark and were only staying one night. The kayaks were a hit with the kids!
