Beautiful place to relax in Workum

This lovely apartment, located on the first floor, has beautiful views over the countryside, is right on the water and offers plenty of privacy. Through the front door, you enter a spacious hall where you walk up the stairs and enter the apartment. Through the hallway, you reach the bedroom with a comfortable double box spring bed. Since December 4, 2023, we have been the proud owners of our vacation home at Beach Resort in Makkum. The house can accommodate up to 6 people, and is very complete. 't Achterdijkje is a centrally located apartment in the authentic fishing village of 'Makkum'. The view of the sea dike and the masts of the ships in the harbor makes it the perfect location for rest and relaxation. Welcome to our characteristic cottage, located in the center of Makkum. In earlier times, a skipper's family, father, mother and six children lived in this house. Father on the water and mother sold petroleum at home. Nowadays, it is no longer possible to imagine. Now this cozy cottage offers all the comforts for two people in a lovely quiet neighborhood. This centrally located accommodation is tastefully decorated and is located in the heart of Workum overlooking the harbor and the large church. Vacation home in Makkum/ Ijsselmeer

The vacation home has now been completely renovated and refurnished. It has a 3 meter jetty with direct access to the IJsselmeer. The terrace faces south, so you can enjoy the sun until late in the evening. The beach is gently sloping. In the park there is a rental for bicycles, family bikes, standup paddle boards etc. There is a supermarket, a pizzeria and numerous restaurants nearby. Medical care is also available in the village.
