"Hunsrück Valley View" Holiday Home with SAUNA

A two-bedroom stylish and comfortable holiday apartment for up to four, with a terrace and picture-perfect view of the valley and mountains below. A cedar barrel sauna is available (at extra cost). The entire apartment was renovated in March 2024, including a new sauna oven (it gets really, really hot now), acoustic paneling, new kitchen with Bosch appliances (oven, dishwasher), rain-water shower, a washing machine with dryer, and new beds. You can also visit our herd of Scottish Highlanders!

This sunlit former mine nestles against the rock like a swallow’s nest, directly below Burg Gutenfels and along the Rheinsteig trail - far from train and traffic noise. Enjoy the shaded terrace beneath the vine arbor and the herb garden. From your secluded sun meadow, you overlook the Rhine, passing ships, and the historic Pfalzgrafenstein castle.

We have generously broken down the walls in the old winegrowers' business and you can now enjoy the panoramic Moselle view. A wonderful symbiosis of today's living standards and the charm of a mountain inn. The living-dining area is open plan, there is a bedroom with a double bed and a separate area with a sofa bed. Priceless but nevertheless included: fantastic views over a horse paddock and beyond the Rhine. From here you can start wonderful hikes. In a short time, you're at Johannisberg Castle, Rüdesheim with Drosselgasse, abbey and romantic castles.
