Holidays by the lake Unden

In the middle of West Götalands unspoilt nature with its lakes and forests, near the big lake Vättern, about 5 kilometers from the village of Undenäs and far away from any through traffic, the small country village of Igelstad is located, directly on the lake Unden. The village is a small collection of scattered houses and farms, of which some are permanently inhabited, while others are used as summer cottages. Here, in a large clearing in the forest, the small farm "Nolgården" is situated. The house is a separate, well-equipped classic wooden log house, built in spruce. It was thourougly renovated in 2008. There is a private bathroom, kitchen and private terrace, Internet connection (WLAN) and satellite TV (Astra). A cozy fireplace and electric heating provide comfortable warmth. Directly from the house you can make nice walks in the unspoilt nature, pick berries and mushrooms, or walk to lake Unden, one of the clearest and most pristine lakes in Sweden. From the house to the west side of the peninsula, there is only 800 meters. Here you can have a swim or enjoy the sunset over Unden. The eastern shore can be reached in quarter of an hour via a forest path. By the shore a canoe lies ready for extensive reconnaissance trips to the beautiful deserted islands and quiet bays. But the area has much more to offer: the romantic Tiveden National Park, Lake Viken, Forsvik and the Göta canal with its locks, and the huge lake Vättern are just a few examples of interesting destinations.

Charmig pärla på Kinnekulle!

Vackert belägen stuga med förförande utsikt över öppna ängar, trädridåer och till och med en glimt av Vänern! I den lummiga trädgården kan man slå sig ner bland körsbärsträd och sommarblommor. Stugan är fräsch men enkel, ca 50 kvm med allrum, kök, sovrum och veranda. Rinnande kallt och varmt vatten finns, men dricksvatten tas från dunk. Nybyggt våtrum med dusch och WC. Här bor du avskilt med naturen som granne. Bara några kilometer bort finns populära Cafét på Klostret och Blombergs badplats.

Liten sommarpärla på Kinnekulles västsida.

Slappna av i detta unika och lugna boende. Storslagen och varierad natur med lättillgängliga vandringsleder, kulturhistoriska omgivningar och både strand- och klippbad. Soligt läge morgon till kväll med hängmattor mellan fruktträden som skänker skugga vid behov. Liten flaggning för att takhöjden på 2:a våning är lägre än standard. 2 km gångväg till tågförbindelse. Oktober-mars hyrs huset ut månadsvis. Det angivna priset avser då "kallhyra", dvs kostnad för värme- och elförbrukning tillkommer.

The cottage is beautifully positioned with views over the mosaic landscape. In the centre of the mansion with open views over fields, Lake Vänern and pastures with grazing animals in direct connection to the living. Positioned 5 km from Läckö Castle, 9 km from Spiken's fishing village and 1km from the water. Pleasant cycle paths in the surroundings. The location is private & the house was completely restored during 2019. The decor is light & modern with a new kitchen & shower/toilet.

Söker ni en lantlig miljö med fantastiskt utsikt över Vättern? Då har ni hittat rätt! Känner inte till många stugor i Sverige där man kan se tre olika län från en och samma plats. Stugan har det mesta då det kommer till bekvämlighet. Fullutrustat kök, bäddsoffa, dubbelsäng och badrum. Därtill wifi och tv med Netflix etc. Utomhus finns ett trädäck med grill, bord samt stolar och utomhuseldstad. Har ni barn i sällskapet finns ytor att springa runt på, gunga samt åka rutschkana.

On the beautiful mountain Kinnekulle, on the west side and walking distance to the biggest lake in Sweden you will find this charming railway station. The house has been renovated during 2021/2022. 2 new bathroom/toilets and a modern kitchen in old fashion style. 2 big bedrooms on the second floor for 6+ people. Kitchen and two nice living rooms on the ground floor. A big garden with plenty of room for children (and adults :-) )

Modern lägenhet i villa i lugn och fridfull miljö.

Lägenheten ligger som vinkel i vårt hus. Egen entré till lägenheten. WiFi Finns. Pilgrimsleden mot Spiken /Läckö går alldeles utanför vårt hus. Altan vid entrè till lägenheten är till för gästerna. Avstånd till Spikens fiskeläge är ca 3 km och ca 4 km till Läckö Slott. Huset har ett naturskönt läge.
