The area is characterized by a beautiful cultural landscape, and it happens that sheep go just outside the house. The cozy unit combines country charm with modern comfort. Only 30 minutes to Stavanger city center. A perfect starting point for exploring the Pulpit Rock, Solastrendene and other experiences in the region.

Magical place at the lake with a 8000 m2 garden and 120 m beach/shoreline. Perfect for relaxing, boating and fishing. At the lake there is a pavillion with a remarkable view where you can enjoy the sunset. A boat and canoe are available for free. It's a very private and quiet location, but still perfectly located in Ryfylke with all its breathtaking hikes nearby. In 2020 the bathroom and hall was totally refurbished, and a fiberoptic cable was installed with a fast wifi-connection.

From the house it is a 10 minutes drive to the ferrydock in Forsand, where there is ferry connection to Lysebotn.
