Tucked deep in redwood country, this peaceful haven offers a jacuzzi under star-filled skies, quiet mornings on the patio with quail, turkey, and deer, and the nighttime hush of crickets and frogs. Inside, enjoy a cozy wood stove, Wi-Fi, and charming artistic touches throughout. Whimsical, dog-friendly, and off the beaten path—this is your place to reconnect with nature and yourself.

Blue Lake Sanctuary

Surrounded by pastures, it's a short walk to the Mad River for swims and walks. The Mad River Brewery is less than a mile up the road. Excellent mountain biking is 1 mile away. In a 15 minute drive you can find the hip town of Arcata, surrounded by redwoods and hiking as well as a majestic coastline. Sundays 10 am to noon we host a family friendly ecstatic dance in the studio adjacent to the apartment. Expect music at that time. Come join us! Public Yoga classes are Tuesday & Saturday am.

Located in an upscale quiet neighborhood in the hills above Arcata, near extensive redwood hiking trails. Unwind in our sheltered outdoor living room, with a fire pit by the pond. Please keep voices low out of consideration for the neighbors.

*We have 2 big friendly dogs* *Not a full kitchen* A rare one of a kind working ranch nestled in the redwoods with rock walkways winding through rhododendron gardens, the property reminds you of castle grounds. Feed the horses carrots on your walkabout or enjoy a canoe ride and listen to the birds. This elegant 2 story treehouse will take your breath away and leave you and your guests feeling relaxed and rejuvenated in nature. Our house is close by but your treehouse is private.

The cottage is cozy and comfortable, with handcrafted touches throughout. It is in a beautiful, rural setting with an easy 10-15 minute drive to both downtown Eureka and downtown Arcata. The cottage is on a 4-acre property nestled up against a small redwood grove, allowing for plenty of privacy for guests who are looking for a secluded getaway. Cottage guests are also welcome to make themselves at home on the property and in the garden. The cottage is ideal for 2 people

Wake up to the redwoods, head into town to enjoy a cappuccino at a local coffee shop, located only 15 minutes away from the Arcata Plaza, come back to enjoy a dip in the hot tub, then get a goodnights rest on our memory foam mattress, 100% cotton sheets and memory foam pillows. Property is shared with another cabin. NO FIRES ALLOWED - anyone who breaks this rule will be fined $300.
