Private and beautiful surroundings. The private creek access is the best part. the house itself is very clean and we'll maintained. The 3 pieces surround sound system is awesome surprise for us to enjoy the music all day. Susan is very responsive and proactive. We had a great time here.

This is one of the best Airbnbs that I’ve stayed at. From the moment we walked in, the house felt cozy and inviting. Steve went above and beyond with a gift basket, local recommendations and a lovely home. The little touches meant the world to us. The location can’t be beat. We loved our morning walks along the beautiful redwoods. We enjoyed oysters and wine at Humboldt Provisions, breakfast at Golden Harvest Cafe (their blueberry muffin latte is a must), a trip to Samoa, the Sequoia Park Zoo and Babe’s Pizza. Absolutely lovely stay amongst the beautiful redwoods! House has everything one can need for an extended vacation. Extremely comfortable home in a safe neighborhood close to everything. Amber is an excellent host who is available for any concerns.

Drove in from Idaho for a college graduation at Humbolt. We needed a place for 3 couples. This place worked out perfectly. Eric and Heather were super nice and the communication was great. The place was so nice, kids loves all the space and playing outside with all of the acreage. Would definitely stay here again!

From the moment we walked in, we liked the inviting feel of this home. The large & well stocked kitchen was great for our girlfriend getaway! The 4 of us each had our own room and every bed was comfortable. A quiet & peaceful spot with an enjoyable short walk to the downtown area filled with beautiful old homes to enjoy along the way. This is a perfect spot if you are trying to see the Red Woods! The house is outside of town and very secluded. It’s a perfect center location off the Redwood Highway. In four days we were able to hike trails all along the coast clear into Oregon and had this peaceful gem to come home to at night. If you’re too tired to cook there are plenty of restaurant choices near by. Couldn’t have had a better vacation!

Daniela was such an incredible host. She found that we had left a few items behind by mistake and was so conscientious to message me so we could meet up and she brought them to us! She was absolutely lovely communicating with us, incredible to meet her in person, and we are so happy and look forward to staying there again. Our daughter was previewing Cal Poly Humboldt and I hope she attends beginning this fall, so we can return! The unit was so peaceful and it felt as though you had the forest to yourself just off your patio. 4 young doe greeted us in the morning. It was incredible!

We loved our stay in Shelter Cove at Marc’s home. We enjoyed our time in the large deck hanging out and listening to the ocean. Ocean views are plentiful from multiple locations in the home and property. We had gorgeous sunny weather all weekend long. The sunsets from the top deck were amazing. This home had everything needed for a wonderful family vacation. There is plenty of room for everyone and the home is so clean and comfortable. Truly home away from home! We enjoyed exploring Shelter Cove during the days and coming back to the home in the evenings to cook dinner at hang out at the house. The beds were so comfortable. Wow! I can’t believe what a wonderful oasis Katie’s place is! Even more impressive, spacious, and inviting than the photos. The back patio and fire table is a gem, the beds are perfect, and the entire home is spotless. We were greeted and given an intro to the home, and welcomed with homemade scones, great cheese, fruit, cream, and even beverages in the fridge! This place is such a good location and value, and Katie and her husband make it that much better.

We wanted something in walking distance to the Arcata square and Cal Poly. Try the restaurant Salt in the square and Cafe Brio! Yum 😋

We can confidently say this is one of the best in Humboldt Co.! The space is modern, well equipped, quiet, and has a comfortable bed. Oftentimes, this region prides itself on spaces without any window coverings, the cottage has blinds! The shower is large with a detachable wand and fancy spray settings. We used the kitchen several times for meals and found it well equiped. Of note, this is near a small regional airport - so expect a few narrowbody plane sounds. The parcel is shared with a childcare facility & shared wall duplex neighbor. Parking can be a bit tight. None of these impacted us in any negative way.

Lisa’s apartment is the perfect rest stop!! Highly recommended!

Carl is a fantastic host. His cabin is cozy, comfortable, and has everything you need as a home base for exploring the beautiful North Coast. The cabin is surrounded by redwood trees and is very private. We'll be back again for sure!

My family and I loved the green cabin, even in the rain! We visited, played board games and watched movies provided. The layout of property is perfect. Lots of comfy beds, generous seating on couch and table. We are already planning our next stay!

A beautiful spot to land in a rugged landscape. I appreciate how Laura was communicative and present if needed, but gave lots of space for us to enjoy the quiet solitude. I enjoyed a peaceful evening viewing the moon and stars from the soaking tub. It’s a great town, too—really enjoyed the friendly people and delicious food.

Plenty of things to do in Eureka. I initially was worried about that. the cabin was secluded and very peaceful, and GPS took us right to the door. Owner was responsive and proactive with communication. Would definitely go again!

The cabin was beautiful, comfortable & nicely furnished. The yard, hot tub, upstairs & downstairs deck/patio areas were wonderful. I loved seeing a variety of wildlife. I also liked the privacy aspect, being at the end of a long, separate driveway in a quiet area. A very peaceful & pleasant stay, with a cute little park nearby. I appreciated the host's clear instructions regarding location & check out. I will absolutely be back. Thanks so much for your hospitality and the lovely visit.

What a cute little cabin in the redwoods. There’s a nice path down to the river. And a wonderful cat welcomes you and provides lots of loves. Be aware that there are no doors on the bedrooms, but that was OK.
