Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Huddersfield

Just got back from having 3 lovely nights stay at Carr Cottage. The cottage is spacious, very clean, well equipped, comfortable & warm. Good size bathroom with an excellent shower and large towels which is always a bonus. We only used the first floor bedroom but the bed was so comfortable. The location is perfect for getting to Halifax, bus right outside your door, an hour walk to Sowerby Bridge along the canal and a bus at the bottom of the road to Hebden Bridge. Also, a friendly local pub a few minutes walk down hill too. Thank you Ric & Ingrid for being great hosts, will recommend 😊

We spent four nights here. Arrived late after a long journey and found instructions very clear and the house perfect for our needs. There is a spiral staircase which might not suit less mobile but very secure and well lit. The cottage was so comfortable and well set up. Lovely places a short distance away and really nice walks straight from the cottage. Overall very comfortable and easy access to busier cities if that's what you want.

MC was very friendly and flexible and gave super clear instruction to the coach house. The coach is lovely and fully of history and very spacious and well finished.

We had a great weekend at Amy's home, the view is stunning, as is the house, with a great open plan space, perfect for friends to get away. There is everything you might possibly need in the kitchen which is well laid out. The beds are very comfy, it was quite difficult to get out of them on Sunday morning to be out by 10 😀. Amy was very helpful when we had an issue with the showers. Great stay and highly recommended.

What a fantastic place to stay. We stayed with our two dogs and it was so cosy and super clean and tidy. The view from the windows were perfect too. Definitely recommend and would definitely like to stay again.

Casa spettacolare a Golcar immersa nella natura, vista meravigliosa e un giardino stupendo. Si raggiunge facilmente a piedi il canale e con una passeggiata rilassante si arriva a Slaithwaite, cittadina carinissima con bar ristoranti e supermercati e negozi. La casa pulitissima, letti comodissimi e casa che corrisponde esattamente a foto e descrizione. Veramente meravigliosa e consigliata! Francesca è un’ottima host reattiva e gentile, in casa abbiamo trovato te e caffè. Tutto perfetto!!

Sara was a great host, very communicative, lots of information available, a house website was useful. The cal just before was very welcoming and opportunity to ask any questions, just very nice and welcoming

What a beautiful place. Simon the host was always in touch before our stay to answer any questions we had and also throughout our stay making sure everything was ok. Nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation is amazing and the setting absolutely beautiful. The accommodation provides everything you would need for a very comfortable stay. The property is private and quiet yet transport links are on the doorstep. I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone. It was just perfect for us.

We had a great week in this flat and would definitely return , Pubs & restaurants on your doorstep and a great balcony to sit out on and watch the world go by. Also Nick our host is a nice guy .

Lovely little place to stay. I'm glad Emma helped with the directions as Google maps found it difficult, but I got there eventually. There are quite a few steep steps down from the parking area to consider but I'm sure Emma will take that into consideration for others who might struggle there. Communication was top notch and extra info.given for the number of a local taxi service. Lovely room with separate ensuite bathroom. Very peaceful setting. Lovely to hear only the birds in the morning. Only a half mile walk into town with all its amenities.

Mike's place was perfect for our 3 night trip to the Colne Valley. The farm shop just across the road and pub a short walk away were very handy. The place was very clean and had everything we needed, and we felt really comfortable as soon as we walked through the front door. Would lo e to come back and explore the area more.

Beautiful cozy farmhouse in a lovely town near Leeds. The place was absolutely gorgeous - warm, inviting, and full of charm. The hot tub was amazing, and there were plenty of games to enjoy. The host was super helpful and thoughtful with great local recommendations as well as leaving crumpets, fresh milk and butter and a selection of cereals and snacks for us to enjoy. No negatives, highly recommend!

We stayed overnight at Diana's and it was perfect. The photos don't do it justice; it was much better and the living area, bedroom and bathroom were all huge! A great place to stay.

Very happy with Rachel and her apartment. It is a steep climb to the Bronte’s parsonage but walking is what the Brontes did themselves.

We spent one night at Bumblebee Cottage and everything was spot on - good location, easy check-in process, clean and comfortable accommodation. We were very grateful to Georgie for her flexibility with the checkout time and her understanding when we accidently broke a glass. Highly recommended for anyone staying in the area.

Great location quiet, easy to get to. We stopped just 1 night so didn’t use anything in the kitchen but it had all you would need. Plenty big enough for 2 people with really comfy bed and large bathroom with walk in shower . Would definitely stay there again

We had the most amazing time in your home Stuart and Angela. ❤️ You made us feel so welcome from the moment we stepped in. The views were breathtaking and the peace and quiet at the cottage was just what we needed. The views of the village, the sun set and the full moon were all beautiful gems we got to experience at Top of t’hill. You really have made it a cosy and comfortable stay, and it was a perfect getaway, away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The gym and sauna were great facilities that we benefitted and enjoyed too. Your eco environment friendly home and surroundings was an inspiration to us. Finally, your hospitality and kindness, and lovely chats with us made us feel like old friends! Nice relaxing little apartment, with everything you'll mostly need from an airbnb, just what the doctor ordered. Rachael was very friendly and accommodating. Will stay again should I be in the area...... two thumbs up 👍

I love this flat it's ideal if you have mobility problems and want to be on one level. it flows well. lovely bedrooms great well stocked kitchen. large shower. the area is beautiful on the canal and there are fabulous communal gardens just outside the pretty courtyard garden are that are full of beautiful flowers. beds are comfy and the owner is always fast to respond.

The studio was lovely! the water pressure was a little poor and the taps in the bathroom were too close to the sink but thats not unliveable! we kept the studio as clean as possible but it was very clean already! it was decently easy to get to, clear instructions on how to get in. The bed was comfy and the fact there was no tv made it so much more enjoyable because we actually planned out our days instead of slumped over watching netflix all day 😂 lots of busses around and VERY comfy and cosy. Clean and warm. Thank you to the host for allowing us to stay here!
