Train station to Whitby from the village. We welcome two dogs at the Nest.

Birch House Farm is located within 12 acres of woodland and pasture. Hollyhock cabin has been finished to a high specification to give comfort all year round. We provide bed linen, towels and a welcome basket containing home grown and local produce. Ensuite shower facilities, heating, TV and a kitchen area (hob, kettle and microwave). There is a double hammock and a BBQ fire pit area outside. Perfect for a quiet break in the countryside. Couples only. No children. No dogs allowed.

Crumbleclive is a beautifully restored 100 year old cabin set within the dramatic backdrop of Crunkly Ghyll. It was originally the ‘Gun Room’ for the local estate in the 1890s! There’s a Co-op store and a loose weigh shop Castleton lies close to the Esk valley railway to Whitby
