Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Horn-Bad Meinberg

We wanted absolute peace and a retreat just for us. We found all this in the beautiful forest edge house. It is really in a completely secluded location, the nearest houses are several hundred meters away. Rarely do people walk along a forest path about 100m next to the house, then you can sometimes hear human voices or horses and dogs, sometimes tractors drive or you can hear forestry work. 90% to 95% of the time we spent there, however, it was really quiet and we could enjoy this wonderful peace that we longed for. The house is furnished with great attention to detail, very clean and you can feel right at home there. The furnishings are very high quality overall and nothing is missing. We especially liked the tiled stove in the living room, which you can cuddle up to in the evening. To the rear, the house has a magnificent view over the fields. It's an absolute dream house! We will be happy to come back.

We had a very nice family holiday at the hideaway and it met our expectations one hundred percent. The house is very beautifully located from there, from there you can take many hikes or even start further distant sights by car. The house is very cozily furnished and we felt totally comfortable. The communication with Andreas was great. We would love to come again :-)

Everything without problems! A little hard to find but very nice!

A very well-equipped house with plenty of space for 8 people and two dogs. We really enjoyed the large kitchen and extensive kitchen equipment. The play facilities were also extensively used. Only the many steps to the entrance of the house were a bit problematic for my old dog. Thank you for the lovely stay.

Beautiful stylish house with great property located on a stream. No unnecessary bells and whistles, but everything you need. We felt very comfortable. However, you should inquire whether an event is planned at the neighbouring municipal square. The Schützenfest on the last evening is only a stone's throw away, but you won't be able to sleep before 3:00 in the morning.

There were three of us in the cute house and there was plenty of room. Perfect location right by the forest in the immediate vicinity of the Externsteine and a lot of beautiful hiking trails through the Teutoburg Forest. Unreservedly recommended.

We enjoyed the time around Christmas at the place very much. The friendly welcome was great and the house was beautifully large and lovingly furnished. We felt comfortable there.

The accommodation is very clean and very tasteful down to the last detail, partly funny. Everything you need is there. Katrin is very concerned about her guests. When it got quite cool again in mid-June, she turned on the heating without being asked and we arrived soaking wet and frozen in a cosy, warm apartment. Highly recommended.

we felt completely comfortable. The house and garden are very lovingly furnished and designed and everything was super clean and very well equipped. There is really nothing where we would say that it was bad or we did not like it. Unfortunately, we did not have such good weather during the stay, but since the accommodation was so beautiful, it did not bother us at all. we would like to come back at any time and definitely recommend the Forsthaus :-)!

Spacious and pleasant apartment located in the countryside near Bielefeld. The environment is quiet with many hiking trails. We had a great time.

Everything is fine. Good location including underground parking. No table with chairs in the apartment (couch with coffee table but available). Good amenities for the beautiful balcony. Beautiful swimming pool on the 6th floor.

It is a nice quiet place in the country. Within walking distance to Lemgo. A short drive to Detmold.

We felt comfortable all around during our stay. Both the cheerful and helpful host Gerhard and the other residents on the premises welcomed us warmly and were so kind that in addition to the activities we did outside the property, we could also spend a lot of nice time with them. Whether you go hiking, staying for yourself, or spend a cozy barbecue in the evening, you are of course left to yourself. Gerhard has described the condition of the accommodation /grounds quite fittingly. There is nothing missing and even if there is one or the other blemish, or an unfinished project, there is a lot of cool things to discover for do it your Self fans and certainly one or the other inspiration . We will definitely be back and highly recommend everyone to convince themselves.

The four of us spent an extended hiking weekend in Thomas and Alice's beautiful bungalow. We felt very comfortable in this really nicely furnished bungalow, a very chic mix of old and modern. Everything was clean, pleasant, bright. Communication was quick and seamless. The table football was used, we had a lot of fun and a special surprise for us: there is a western guitar in the dining area. The vote was taken immediately and a little house music was played. All in all: a recommended place to stay!

We spent a very nice long weekend in the Old Forsthaus and were very enthusiastic about the apartment, in which nothing was missing (especially in the kitchen) and everything is visually so beautifully coordinated that you could only feel comfortable. We also particularly liked the garden and the location on the edge of the forest. You can start a hike directly, e.g. to the Dalheim Monastery or on the forest adventure trail. Helen's mother welcomed us very warmly and quickly answered and supported us with small questions. We will definitely come back when we are back in the area, it is a very relaxing place. I couldn't have dreamed of a better place to enjoy the city of Paderborn. The listing is true to the photos. The Neighborhood is peaceful. In addition, Julie is welcoming and very responsive. Transportation is within a 5-minute walk. You can enjoy the inner city 20 minutes away by transport.
