If you are looking for a larger shopping center, Gorredijk (known for Rinsma modeplein) Sportstad/Thialf Heerenveen, Drachten, Leeuwarden, and Sneek are also easy to drive to.

Summer at the Ruskehoeve!

The Ruskehoeve is an old forest farm in the atmosphere of the past. There are 3 bedrooms. Layout; hall, shower, toilet, kitchen, loft with staircase entrance to cozy sleeping loft where there are two single beds and a toilet. At the rear there is a spacious bedroom with a double bed (160/200). The living room is heated with a Tigchel stove. Adjacent to the living room is the downstairs bedroom with double bed (140/200). Behind and in front of the house, you can sit outside.

Relax in detached, cozy cottage.

The detached cottage with underfloor heating and wood-burning stove is located on a piece of yard between the old harbour of Oldeberkoop and our farm. The lovely sunny garden with terrace, are around the cottage and give you complete privacy. In the morning you can walk to the local bakery for fresh rolls. A walk has so started in the opposite park-like Molenbosch. With the free bicycles you can explore the wooded, rural area via all kinds of routes. A place to unwind!

Log cabin in the middle of the forest

Tucked away in the greenery is the log cabin. A place with lots of privacy at the edge of the forest and with a nice view. In the log cabin you will find a double bed, a kitchen with fridge and hob, a sitting area, a dining area and a wardrobe. With good weather you can sit on the terrace of the cabin. The shower, toilet and sink are located in a separate sanitary unit about 25 meters from the log cabin and are only used by the guests of the log cabin.

Comfortable holiday home with fireplace

This comfortable holiday home is located directly on the Drents-Friese Wold. The house is in a park with no facilities/gate or rules. The houses in the park are both permanently inhabited and rented out for vacation. You can walk, cycle and mountain bike to your heart's content in the area. Cities such as Assen, Leeuwarden and Groningen are easy to reach. The house is fully and stylishly furnished and invites you to relax with a book by the fireplace.

Great for 50 plus cyclists!

Trekkershut

A cozy cabin to relax and unwind. Or to spend the night on a bike ride through the scenery of South East Friesland. The cabin gives space to two adults and possibly two children. Kitchen and sanitary facilities are not available in the cabin, but you use the sanitary facilities on our Natuurkampeerterrein. The cabin can be booked for up to 4 nights. In the former horse stable of the monumental farmhouse in Bakkeveen, a beautiful and comfortable 2-person apartment is located. The horse stable is located next door and has a view of the Slotplaats estate. Everything is a stone's throw from the beautiful forests and nature of Bakkeveen, where beautiful walks and bike rides can be made directly from the cottage.
