In the neighbouring village of Salzhemmendorf, the Ith-Sole-Therme, a wellness bath with a large sauna area, is located. There are a variety of shopping facilities for everyday needs, several doctors and pharmacies, a hairdresser, a petrol station, an indoor swimming pool and a riding facility. There is also a baker directly in Hemmendorf.

Die kleine Wohnung (34 m²) ist für 2 bis 4 Personen buchbar und verfügt über einen Wohn-Schlafraum, einer Küche und ein Bad. Ein großer Garten mit Sitzecken und Liegewiese kann mit genutzt werden. Kleinere Haustiere sind erlaubt. WLAN ist vorhanden.

Handmade tiny house for two people. Right on the lake, with a large terrace and sauna. The house was built with ecological materials (wood fiber insulation, clay plaster) and lovingly furnished with solid wood furniture. It has a double bed 160 x 200, a couch, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with shower and dry separation toilet. The house is easily accessible by train. Hämelerwald train station is only a 15-minute walk away.

The getaway 39 has a spacious living and dining area as well as a fully equipped kitchen. From the living area, the bowling alley is directly accessible, two trains are available here for social hours. In addition to the two sofa beds with space for 4 people in the living room, the getaway 39 has a double bedroom. Parking facilities for several cars or packages are available. A lockable wooden cabin can be used as a bicycle shelter.

My place is right in the center of the historic old town of Höxter. Restaurants and pubs as well as all shopping are within walking distance. Corvey Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is only about 3 km away. Höxter is located on the R1 bike path, only about 500 meters from the apartment. Towards Godelheim after about 1.5 km is the recreational lake with swimming and sports facilities, which is very popular in good weather.

The local gastronomy also has plenty of things to offer. Especially with children, a visit to the Sababurg Zoo is an absolute highlight. Or maybe historic?
