Little Red Riding Hood's House - hidden in the deep, quiet forest

Rødhættes Hus is a tiny house, which is peaceful and idyllic on the shore of Kovad Bækken, in a clearing in the middle of Rold Skov and overlooking the meadow and forest. Just a stone's throw from the beautiful forest lake St. Øksø. The perfect starting point for hiking and mountain biking in Rold Forest and Rebild Hills or as a quiet shelter in the tranquility of the forest, from which life can be enjoyed, perhaps with the mouse owl hovering over the meadow, the squirrel darting up the tree trunk, a good book in front of the wood stove or coziness in the firelight at night.

Enjoy a stylish experience in this centrally located home. Private entrance, kitchen, living room, toilet and bathroom. In the bright kitchen and spacious kitchen-dining room, you and your friends/family can cook and enjoy a good dinner. You can also go out on the terrace and enjoy the good days and evenings. There is a campfire and trampoline for the childish souls. 1 km down to the city center, where there are several restaurants and good shopping opportunities. Mastrup lakes with lots of trail systems right in the backyard and only a 10-minute drive from Rold forest.

Nature cabin Gademosen in the heart of Himmerland. It is a 1 bedroom cottage with sofa bed and dining table. There is a kitchenette with a fridge-freezer and a wardrobe. At the end of the cottage is an outdoor kitchen with cold water, oven and stove. A lovely terrace. A little further away, there is a toilet building with a toilet and sink with cold water. No bath. Bed linen, linens and towels are included in the price. Breakfast can be purchased. Within walking distance is Himmerland Football Golf and open garden by appointment. Close to Rebild Hills and Rold Forest.

Søbred's summer cottage in Rebild, Hornum lake

The house is located on the shore of Hornum Lake on private land along the lake shore. Possibility of swimming from a private beach and fishing from the lake shore as well as a campfire. There is a bathroom with toilet and sink, and showering takes place under the outdoor shower. Kitchen with 2 hotplates, refrigerator with freezer - but no oven. The lease is from 1 pm to 10 am the following day. There is a heat pump, soap, dishwashing detergent, cleaning supplies, etc. - but remember to bring bed linen😀 and towels, and pets are welcome, just not on the furniture.

Lovely villa apartment of 60 sqm in a quiet & central neighborhood. There is free parking. The apartment consists of an entrance hall, 1 living room with dining area for up to 4 people, as well as a corner sofa, which can be converted into a bed/extra bed for 1 or 2 people, as well as a 55" smart TV. Bedroom with double bed and 55" smart TV. Newer smaller kitchen with oven, microwave, and refrigerator. Free coffee/tea/water during the stay. Bathroom with toilet and shower. Towels, bed linen, as well as hair shampoo/conditioner are included in the rent.

As a tenant with us, you will be staying in a newly built annex. The annex is located on a natural plot in the woods with the golf course as the nearest neighbor and close to Aalborg, 15 minutes to the city bus. Whether it's a city vacation, golf, mountain biking, road cycling, you have plenty of opportunities to meet your needs here with us. We are happy to help you with good advice if you ask. House in the country - The Retro House

Note! Limited bookings spring/summer 2025 due to construction work on the farm! Welcome to Vandbakkegaarden’s Retro House. Here you will find nature, peace and plenty of cosiness in authentic surroundings. The house is the original cottage built around 1930, while we live in a newer house on the property. The house deserves to be lived in and cared for, and you – our guests, contribute to that. We also appreciate offering our guests a different type of holiday and on a budget.

Feel the real atmosphere of authenticity and charm in the old cottage. Enjoy the garden or the sunset over the lake from the bench, or take a walk in the Swan Mill Park, which is located at the end of the garden. The cottage is centrally located in Svenstrup town. 5 minutes walk to Svenstrup train station, where you can get to Aalborg in 9 minutes. Shopping such as SuperBrugsen, Rema or Coop365 is a two-minute walk from the cottage.

Nice and cozy 2 room apartment in 2 levels. There is room for two people in the bedroom. Additional there can be prepared for one more person to sleep upstairs in the living room on a folding cushion (+ 100 Dkr/night). From the apartment there is 20 min. walk to the center of Aalborg. Bus 11 and 17 is near by. There is good opportunities to shop locally.
