Little Red Riding Hood's House - hidden in the deep, quiet forest

Rødhættes Hus is a tiny house, which is peaceful and idyllic on the shore of Kovad Bækken, in a clearing in the middle of Rold Skov and overlooking the meadow and forest. Just a stone's throw from the beautiful forest lake St. Øksø. The perfect starting point for hiking and mountain biking in Rold Forest and Rebild Hills or as a quiet shelter in the tranquility of the forest, from which life can be enjoyed, perhaps with the mouse owl hovering over the meadow, the squirrel darting up the tree trunk, a good book in front of the wood stove or coziness in the firelight at night.

In the bright kitchen and spacious kitchen-dining room, you and your friends/family can cook and enjoy a good dinner. You can also go out on the terrace and enjoy the good days and evenings. There is a campfire and trampoline for the childish souls. 1 km down to the city center, where there are several restaurants and good shopping opportunities. Mastrup lakes with lots of trail systems right in the backyard and only a 10-minute drive from Rold forest.

Nature cabin Gademosen in the heart of Himmerland. It is a 1 bedroom cottage with sofa bed and dining table. There is a kitchenette with a fridge-freezer and a wardrobe. At the end of the cottage is an outdoor kitchen with cold water, oven and stove. A lovely terrace. A little further away, there is a toilet building with a toilet and sink with cold water. No bath. Bed linen, linens and towels are included in the price. Breakfast can be purchased. Within walking distance is Himmerland Football Golf and open garden by appointment. Close to Rebild Hills and Rold Forest.

Søbred's summer cottage in Rebild, Hornum lake

The house is located on the shore of Hornum Lake on private land along the lake shore. Possibility of swimming from a private beach and fishing from the lake shore as well as a campfire. There is a bathroom with toilet and sink, and showering takes place under the outdoor shower. Kitchen with 2 hotplates, refrigerator with freezer - but no oven. The lease is from 1 pm to 10 am the following day. There is a heat pump, soap, dishwashing detergent, cleaning supplies, etc. - but remember to bring bed linen😀 and towels, and pets are welcome, just not on the furniture.

The apartment consists of an entrance hall, 1 living room with dining area for up to 4 people, as well as a corner sofa, which can be converted into a bed/extra bed for 1 or 2 people, as well as a 55" smart TV. Bedroom with double bed and 55" smart TV. Newer smaller kitchen with oven, microwave, and refrigerator. Free coffee/tea/water during the stay. Bathroom with toilet and shower. Towels, bed linen, as well as hair shampoo/conditioner are included in the rent.

Relax with the whole family in this log cabin, which oozes coziness and warmth with oak plank tables, a bench, comfortable furniture, only 5 km from City South and 9 km from Aalborg Center. New kitchen in the year 2025😊 The log cabin is well hidden off the road between the trees right next to the Poulstrup Lake area. Right outside the door there are marked hiking trails, and close to MTB tracks as well as riding trails. Possibility of grass paddocks for horses within 1 km. Ørnhøj Golf Club is only 8 km away and 20 km to Rold Skov Golf Club.

As a tenant with us, you will be staying in a newly built annex. The annex is located on a natural plot in the woods with the golf course as the nearest neighbor and close to Aalborg, 15 minutes to the city bus. Whether it's a city vacation, golf, mountain biking, road cycling, you have plenty of opportunities to meet your needs here with us. We are happy to help you with good advice if you ask. House in the country - The Retro House

Note! Limited bookings spring/summer 2025 due to construction work on the farm! Welcome to Vandbakkegaarden’s Retro House. Here you will find nature, peace and plenty of cosiness in authentic surroundings. The house is the original cottage built around 1930, while we live in a newer house on the property. The house deserves to be lived in and cared for, and you – our guests, contribute to that. We also appreciate offering our guests a different type of holiday and on a budget.

Located 10 km from the E45 highway, directly on Hærvejen and only 400 meters from the grocery store. The apartment is undisturbed from the rest of the house. Free parking right at the door.

Additional there can be prepared for one more person to sleep upstairs in the living room on a folding cushion (+ 100 Dkr/night). From the apartment there is 20 min. walk to the center of Aalborg. Bus 11 and 17 is near by. There is good opportunities to shop locally.
