Es ist eine Parterrewohnung mit offener, chicer Einbauküche, separatem Schlafzimmer, Badezimmer mit großer Dusche, Terrassenbenutzung. Das ca. 45 qm große 2 Raum Appartement liegt in zentraler Lage direkt in der Hildener Innenstadt. Die Verkehrsanbindung nach Düsseldorf ist mit dem Auto, der S Bahn oder Bus ( in unmittelbarer Nähe ) in ca 3 - 5 Min. zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Unterkunft ist für Messebesucher, berufliche Aufenthalte und auch für eine Städtereise geeignet. In unmittelbarem Umfeld befinden sich Parkhaus sowie die Hildener Fußgängerzone mit zahlreichen Cafés, Restaurants, Imbiss u.v.m. Für Fragen stehe ich gerne während des Aufenthalts zur Verfügung. Da wir selbst häufig auf unseren Reisen in privaten Unterkünften übernachten, war es uns sehr wichtig unseren Gästen ein ein schönes "Zuhause" auf Zeit zu errichten. Wir haben diese in dem letzten Jahr alle liebevoll saniert, neue Bäder gebaut, Böden, Türen, Wände komplett neu errichtet. Neue und hochwertige Möbel und Einrichtungsgegenstände runden das Bild ab. Walnut Tree Cottage Apartment wurde 2023 fertig gestellt und mit viel Liebe zum Detail im englischen Stil eingerichtet. Die Räume sind mit z. T. antiken Möbeln und Tapeten des National Trust (England) aus 3 Jahrhunderten dekoriert. Die Ausstattung der Küche und des Bades sind modern und hochwertig. Die Unterkunft liegt in einer ruhigen Sackgasse, die Autobahn wird in wenigen Minuten erreicht. Der fußläufig gelegene Bahnhof bietet Direktverbindungen u. a. nach Düsseldorf, Köln und Wuppertal.

You would live in the small village called “Meigen”. It is very close to the city centre of Solingen. The drive to the city centre is about 5 min. with the car and 10 with the bus. You can park your car almost in front of the apartment. The train station „SG-Mitte“ is also very close. By foot you will need around 20 minutes, with the car only 5 minutes. If you want to ride to Düsseldorf or Cologne you can easily take the train (30-40 min.) or your car (same time), perfect for fairgoers.

The completely renovated Degenfabrik offers you an ambience that makes time run a little slower. Parking is available, 10 to 15 minutes to the city, various restaurants and shops, regional train connection. The sports facility is behind the house. In the same building we run an art gallery that can be visited.

Den Marktplatz und das charmante Zentrum von Hilden mit vielen Restaurants und Geschäften erreicht man zu Fuß in 5 Minuten. Vor dem Haus ist ein privater Stellplatz. Zur S-Bahn-Haltestelle "Hilden-Süd" (S1) sind es 400 Meter. Zum Autobahnkreuz Hilden (A46/A3) sind es 5 Kilometer.
