Absolutely wonderful stay! The peaceful environment truly allowed us to relax. Nikhil, our host, was incredibly proactive and genuinely helpful, going out of his way to take us on an estate drive, which was a delightful experience. Suresh also showed remarkable dedication, reaching out to see what we might need in advance, making us feel cared for and welcomed. The meals were absolutely phenomenal—both dinner and breakfast were so delicious, typical kodagu style cusine. We felt so blessed to enjoy such incredible food during our stay.

I visited this place in April 2025 and it is relief from hot summer. It is surrounded by greenery and situated on a hill. Food is accessible via Swiggy. There are lot of great restaurants nearby if you like Coorg / Mangalore cuisine.

The place is located in, lets say, a village 25kms from somwarpet which is the closest town. So if you are looking for a luxurious stay, this may not be it. Bt the location is amazing, surrounded my mountains. The homestay was very comfortable. Extremely neat and clean. The host / caretaker, was extremely helpful. Always available for any queries or help. They served us with very homely / delicious food.

I had an incredible experience during my stay at Wenge House in Madikeri, which made my trip to Coorg truly memorable. The host, Kshama, was exceptionally generous and accommodating, providing numerous suggestions for sightseeing and dining nearby. They even arranged a jeep for a trip to Mandalpatti, further enhancing our adventure. The property was spacious, neat, tidy, and centrally located, making it convenient to explore major attractions within walking distance. The host was proactive and helpful throughout the stay, ensuring we had everything we needed. The house was well-equipped with all amenities, and truly felt like a home away from home. I wholeheartedly recommend Wenge House to anyone visiting Madikeri for an outstanding Airbnb experience.
