We had an amazing easter vacation at this incredible place! Herman was friendly, always courteous and super helpful with our questions and requests. He even made sure the beer pump that wasn’t working was replaced (at 10pm!) thank you a lot again, you saved our evening. ☺️ All in all a beautiful trip we’d love to repeat and our group of four approves. Had a fantastic stay in Ansen. Clean and nicely furnished house, with all the comforts. Owners are very hospitable and like to think along and proactively.

We had a fantastic family weekend thanks to Willem's accommodation. The contact was excellent, the location sparkling clean and the check-in very easy! The location was very spacious and equipped with every comfort. From our side, for both the location and for the host a (fat) 10!

We loved our stay in this cute old cottage style home. It was a bit longer of a walk from parking to the home than expected , but the path was a short stroll along a lovely canal over a bridge to our destination. There were some beautiful swans greeting us and it felt very idyllic. It was a short (maybe 10 min) drive away from the hustle and bustle of the touristy traffic. We walked (maybe 5 min) along the canal path to a nice restaurant and had dinner. Eva was lovely and I would recommend her place if you are looking for the quaint feel of a traditional canal home without all the noise and foot traffic of a lot of tourists:)

A very cozy apartment with plenty of parking facilities and we were able to park our bicycles in the barn. The hot tub and sauna are heated with wood, so you have to plan for 4 hours for the hot tub when you heat it for the first time. It's much faster the next day. The water will be changed on request. The sauna takes about 1 hour to get hot. We felt very comfortable at the place. We especially enjoyed the tranquility. Everything you need is there, although: a clothes rack would be good and a larger bowl for salad in the kitchen. (But that's whining to a high standard ;-) ) Harlingen is about 10 km by bike and about 16 km to Franeker. Everything is easy to reach by bike. The hosts are super nice and helpful.

Rented Edwin's place in April for a few days. Edwin was always available and ever so helpful. Next to that, the house was beautiful, spacious and clean. Great host, beautiful place!

We stayed here over the Easter holidays and it was beautiful. The apartment was very clean, super equipped and comfortable. Communication with Ria worked great and we had a great few days, thank you for that!

Our stay with Auke and Janet was super nice. The house is really nice and you will be warmly welcomed. Super nice hosts who are great for preparing everything. We arrived with a baby and the two provided us with things like a high chair, a crib and a changing mat for our daughter without us asking. Really super attentive and totally sweet. We will be happy to come back!

Great place to stay, quiet location, perfectly located to explore the island. Everything you could need, including games, which our children loved. Luggage wagon and elevator were very helpful, especially with kids and dog. Comfortable beds. Morning sun on the balcony. We will be happy to come back!

We spent 2 nights in Johan and Gerda's beautiful place and we are delighted!! The accommodation is even better than in the photos, very clean, very nice decor with beautiful materials. Typical and characterful house, the accommodation is located in a quiet area, in a charming little town in the low countries. Very well located ( 35 min from Amsterdam) and very well-equipped, we would highly recommend this accommodation!! Johan and Gerda are caring and caring hosts. An address to remember.

This apartment was the perfect retreat for our weekend. We really appreciated the cozy atmosphere, the dog and the attention to detail. We didn't miss anything, and we go home with nice memories. Thanks for everything 😊

Jacques's place was simply amazing! Cannot recommend enough. He was very friendly and made the check-in easy and flexible. The house is big (enough space for 4, although we were a couple), very well equiped and Jacques is very proactive in recommending anything you need in the area and pointing you in the right direction (we needed a supermarket). The place is very quiet, green and serene so if you are looking for some nature ans relaxation is the perfect spot. And a very nice detail that impressed us was that in the house a cold bottle of water and a small prosseco was waiting for us. It was quite a warm day so we really appreciated the considerate gesture.

A lovingly furnished and very nice accommodation in hippie style. We felt very comfortable and were even allowed to use the boat for a trip. The beach is only 3 minutes away by car and the place Workum with its great restaurants is within easy walking distance. It was a beautiful break from everyday life!

We really enjoyed the stay! 🏡 It was even more spacious than in the photos. The kitchen with the kitchen island was lovely to cook in, and as a cherry on the cake we enjoyed the breathtaking view every day. The host was quick and friendly in communication, which made the stay extra pleasant. Highly recommended! 💪🏼

APARTMENT: Fantastically beautiful view directly on the Jisselmeer. Waking up in bed was never nicer. Very quiet, super nice hosts. Despite advertised "dog apartment" very clean. AREA: A supermarket is a 5-7 minute walk daily. A cafe is almost right outside the front door.

Lovely apartment in a very nice but also very convenient location. The beds consist of 1 bedroom and 1 sleeping bed, great to do for a weekend away. The kitchen is modern and the living room has a cozy dining table. Within 10 minutes you will be at the Grote Markt. Certainly subject to repetition!

We were in this property as a mother and daughter with three young children and could not be happier. The apartment is super tastefully decorated, from the sofa you have a sea view. The kitchen is well equipped, the bathroom is completely new and the equipment for our baby was excellent. Thank you!

Everything tiptop. Marcel and his wife help with everything, are very friendly and relaxed. We rented Marcel's electric boat and did a tour through the canals and lake. It was wonderful. Marcel gave us a good introduction. Thank you!

Came here for tranquility and nature and got exactly what I was looking for. The place was cozy and on a beautiful property. The hosts were generous and easy to communicate with. Also, the restaurant is quite good! Would highly recommend and will definitely be back!

We stayed for a short 2 days to visit the open day at Meppel NHLstenden with our daughter. It was a perfect place to stay, in the middle of the city where we could walk to everything. Convenient parking garage just a block away. Place looked just like in the pictures, very colorful and quirky.

The stay with Klaas and Heleen was wonderful again. We love this place a lot, we've been here for the second time. The apartment is nicely furnished and equipped. There are also bikes and boats and beautiful seating outside by the water. The hosts are very kind and accommodating. Just A GREAT stay.
