In short: secluded location, high-quality renovation, mountain views, quiet location, numerous hiking opportunities directly from the house, ski resort nearby. The house is located above St. Lorenzen in the Lesachtal, a mountaineering village in the middle of the Carnic Alps and Lienz Dolomites. Our old farmhouse, which was lovingly expanded and renovated in 2023, is located on the edge of the forest in a beautiful secluded location and is directly accessible by car. Due to the south-facing orientation, our guests enjoy sun from early to late.

The warm wooden Chalet accommodates up to 6 people in three bedrooms and enchants with its alpine charm and welcoming atmosphere. There is Free Parking on the property.

There are sleeping accommodations for up to 4 people (sofa bed is available). Pets are also welcome. However, the property can only be reached via a metal staircase. The apartment is located in a year-round tourist area with beautiful views and a quiet location.

Carinthian alpine hut with sea view - tranquility/hunting/fishing

The accommodation is not located at the marker, but from there it is still about 10 km to the alpine pasture; an off-road vehicle is needed for this; of course, we can also take you up there by arrangement and if possible; from the beginning of July to the end of August, there are cows on the alpine pasture; since the cows are looked after by a shepherd, he is also on the alpine pasture during this time, although he of course lives in his own hut.

With a total of 111 square meters of living space, Chalet Gailtal can accommodate up to 6 people. 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and an open plan living/ dining area offer you with over 6m room height enough space for perfect vacation. Around 30 square meters, let you forget the time with a view of the Harnische Hauptkamm. A fireplace and outdoor sauna provide pleasant warmth if you come home after a strenuous day of skiing.

When you experience your first Alpine sunset behind the gable-filling panoramic window of our Stadel-Loft, your soul will leap, if not before! You will live at an altitude of about 800m above sea level in the almost untouched nature of the lower Gailtal, in the immediate vicinity of countless Carinthian lakes, surrounded by the spectacular backdrop of the Gailtal and Carnic Alps.
