Holiday rentals with a patio in Hempstead

Very nice apartment and extremely clean! Overall, very comfy and well-equipped. The downside (but that´s on us and not Melissa!) was the location. Despite the fact that it´s possible to take the bus to the city center, we experienced this being a bit of a burden. The bus terminal in the center is not very easy to orientate yourself in when being there the first time, also staff has been rather unfriendly and not very willing to help. The bus transport costs 8$ per trip for 2 people. So we paid 16$ every day to commute back and forward between the apartment and the center. As said, we should have informed ourselves better prior to the stay, but we would not book this one again due to the commuting time. Especially during busy times (morning), the trip takes up to 1 hour one way and busses were extremely crowded from time to time with no seat available. We are young and did not mind too much but I would not recommend this for anyone struggling with that. But again, this is on us! :)

The apartment can easily accommodate 4 people. It’s very clean but not fancy. John was very attentive to my needs and was responded to my questions right away. I felt very safe in the neighborhood. There were a variety of restaurants within a short drive. There was off-street parking and I felt safe leaving the car the whole day.

Extremely satisfied with mine and my families stay! Great location. Cozy feel. Highly recommend this place if you’re in the area.

I had a great stay here. The unit was just as described, clean and comfortable. There is a short walk and bus ride to NYC that takes about 30-45 minutes, so plan ahead. Nestor was responsive by phone and a great host overall.

Great place in a nice neighborhood, with a moderate walk to transit into the city. The hostess was extremely helpful making recommendations on driving and transit options!

This place is hands down, one of the best Airbnbs that I’ve ever stayed in. The apartment was easy to find and looked just like the pictures. The unit is ground level however it is very quiet and you feel very safe. Everything was spotless and you can tell that Elgha takes great care of her property. Elgha is extremely responsive and very friendly. I highly recommend this place. I can’t wait to come back.

This place is just excellent!! A large terrace with nice view to the Hudson River right in front of you. Beautiful surrounding. Comfortable bed. Quiet place. And the bathroom is big with 3 showers at the same time 🙂 Would love to come back. Thank you!

Our stay was cozy and fantastic. The place was clean, comfortable and as advertised. I stayed there with my entire family and it was spacious with everything we needed. Comfortably slept 8. The bunk beds are full beds (just mentioning this as they are bigger than the photos look!). The game room, hot tub, and small photo area were a hit! It was centrally located to all the things we wanted to do while there. Lots of great restaurants around. Would definitely recommend staying here and would absolutely return in the future. The owner was very responsive, kind, and thoughtful!

It was a great place to stay . Our family was so happy staying at the place. There’s no complaints getting there or even in the house. Very affordable too. We can definitely recommend you to staying here metro is near to go downtown.

Absolutely beautiful. It was exactly what we needed clean, and spacious with a welcoming vibe that made us feel right at home. But what truly blew us away was the personal touch: the fridge was fully stocked for us before we arrived, and anything we needed, they had already anticipated. The captains cottage was amazing. Great view of cold spring Harbour and perfect space for family w kids. Went for a great hike in the adjacent state park

Well stocked kitchen, complementary water and coffee was nice to get our trip started. Ample soap/shampoo/conditioner. Overall, it worked great for what we needed

Carmen’s place was great, very spacious, neat & clean and nicely decorated. Bathrooms were also all done up real nice. It was perfect for 4 families and the basement was perfect for the kids. The house was pretty close to everything and the street we were on was very quiet. Carmen and Louis were both very responsive to our needs and easy to work with. I would definitely stay there again. We stayed here twice in one week - to begin our trip and to end our trip to New York. It was a great spot that served our needs well. It is close to JFK so that’s nice but pretty far from other city attractions. The final day we did use public transportation to get from Manhattan to Jamaica where the Airbnb is and it was super simple. We did Uber from the subway station in Jamaica to the house just so we didn’t have to figure out the bus system. I found locals to be very helpful when we had questions.

Wow what an absolute gem of an apartment . Very clean and has everything you would ever need , high spec appliances and furnishings . Location for us was just right about a 25 min walk to the path rail and you were in the heart of NYC. Great supermarket nearby . Anthony was super responsive to any questions we had .The rooftop is an amazing place to escape the hustle of the city and we watched some amazing sunsets from there. There is absolutely nothing less than perfection here , if you are lucky enough to find availability book it .. I can assure you will be as amazed as we were . This Airbnb was a very nice place to stay. We were visiting our family in Hoboken and it was very convenient with the location. The walk to the train was not that bad. It was about 15 minutes. Would probably stay again.

Place was very nice and clean! Looked exactly like the pictures. Getting into the was very easy instructions were very clear! Parking was a little difficult but David did explain that prior to my visit other then that everything was great! I will be booking again when I’m coming back to the area

We absolutely loved our stay at Laurie’s place in Hoboken! The home is exactly as pictured—spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished, and incredibly well thought-out. Laurie has truly anticipated every need, making it easy to feel right at home. We were a group of six (three couples), and the space was perfect—spacious & comfortable. The beds were especially cozy. The location couldn't have been better—just a 10-minute walk to the PATH train, which made getting into NYC fast and simple. After long days exploring, it was so nice to return to a quiet, relaxing home base in Hoboken. The neighborhood itself is absolutely charming, with plenty of great restaurants and cafes. I only wish we’d had more time to enjoy Hoboken itself. We especially loved grabbing coffee just a block away at Hey Coffee People and relaxing in the peaceful backyard. All in all, Laurie’s place is a rare find. If it’s available, don’t hesitate to book. We’d return in a heartbeat!
