The tenant leaves the cabin in the same condition as on arrival. Cleaning is arranged with the landlord – NOK 600/800 for stays of 3 days or more. Hiking possibilities: Try a fresh walk along the cabin roads and along the beach area. Enjoy the sea and nature. We have 4 regular deer that are used to being left alone and stay very close to people.

Close to the bus and city center, without losing the cabin feeling. Quiet and private, with water and mountains that you can enjoy both day and night. Both cabins have a living room, bathroom with toilet, kitchen and bedroom. Shower in one bathroom. Outside there are several dining groups, sun beds, daybed, trampoline, fire pan and private boat.

Gammelbua on Stavøy

It's origins hidden in the unknown of history, this compact and cozy cabin was purposed as a post office and general store from the 1870s. Several details from this era have been kept, like its' original timber walls and ceiling. The cabin is on our beautiful Island of Stavøy, with lots of options for outdoors activities and in particular, fishing. If you are lucky, you might even be a part of the traditional wild salmon fishing every summer. Welcome!
