Close to Denmark's second-largest forest area - Gribskov - National Royal North Zealand with the beautiful castles and magnificent scenes of nature with lakes, forests and beaches. Historically Gilleleje is an old fishing village and it was here that many Jews were transported to Sweden during World War II. Gilleleje Church was a waiting place for Jews until they could be transported. In 1943, 75 Jews were caught by the Gestapo on the church ceiling after a snitch had informed the Germans. Everywhere there are monuments of historical events. Every year there are various festivals in Gilleleje - "Hill" Festival, Harbour Festival, Jazz at the port and The Herring Day. The location is rural with animals and nature just outside the door but at the same time close to the city, restaurants, restaurants, entertainment, shopping and beach/swimming. This natural gem is located north of Helsinge in Kongernes Nordsjælland overlooking open fields and forests. It is 200 meters to the forest where there are good chances of going mushroom hunting or just taking a walk in the beautiful nature. It is very common for forest animals to walk right outside the windows. For example, it can be roe deer, fallow deer and red deer. You can charge your electric car with us. We have separate electricity meters, so you will be charged according to the daily rates found at other public charging stations.

Lovely guesthouse located 4 km north of Frederiksværk, with 2 km to the beach in Líseleje, a traditional seaside resort offering many activities and restaurants. It's 5 minutes to the protected dune and heather area of Melby exaggerated, with a great nature for great experiences, with lots of hiking, running, and biking routes. Get min. walking distance to many great eateries for every taste. There are electric kettle hot plates so you can make a cup of coffee, tea or chocolate after a great trip.

The old barbershop by the monastery

Esrum is a small quit village placed 50km outside Copenhagen. Esrum is beautiful situated next to one of Denmark greatest forest, Gribskov, and in working distance to Esrum Lake. Gribskov offers many outdoor activities, such as hiking, mountain biking, bird watching and much more. Esrum monastery is placed 100meter from the house, and offers museum and different activities. In the daytime there are a Café serving light dishes. Nearest grocery store is in the next village, 3km away.

Hornbæk - two minutes from Hornbæk Plantage

The apartment is in a quiet residential neighborhood. There is a two-minute walk to Hornbæk Plantage. It is a dog forest and it only takes 10 minutes to walk down to the coast. Dogs are welcome, but we are old school and do not accept dogs in the bed, chair, sofa and other furniture. Your dog must be able to sleep on the floor and we are happy to provide a dog bed.

Danish island summerhouse – fjord view

Our modern summerhouse is situated at Oroe in Isefjorden. The house lies on a 'hilly' plot owerlooking Isefjorden almost at the end of a gravel road. From the beach you can fish and swim. And then Oroe is only 1,5 hours drive from Copenhagen. If this house is booked, feel free to see our other house on Orø.

Detached Annex in an old butcher farm in a small town in beautiful North Zealand . The garden and surroundings are idyllic and can be used . The annex has everything that 4 people need . Located close to shopping and restaurants and 2 km to beach and 56 km to Copenhagen. Close to the station.
