The hallway leads to our basement rooms, which means we sometimes have to go through the hallway. Mini kitchen. Wi-Fi. TV. Near DRK Altenheim. A travel bed can be added to the bed (1.40 x 2.00, for two people to sleep) if necessary. For guests with a baby, a reservation is possible after consultation.

It is located 200 m from the edge of the forest and is the ideal starting point for hiking or cycling tours to "Kroppacher Schweiz" and with connection (1 km) to the Westerwaldsteig. Two playgrounds are not far away and there is much to discover, e.g. Hachenburg with the historic market square, the Marienstatt Abbey with monastery garden & brewery, the Westerwald Lake District, Bad Marienberg with climbing and animal park.

There's nothing here but lots of nature! For hiking or cycling, you have a perfect starting point from our AirBnb (20 square meters with private bathroom), but it is also great to just wrap up for a weekend. Please note: The nearest bakery where you can have a nice breakfast, as well as shopping, is an 8-minute drive away. Enjoy the impressive panoramic views of the highlands of the northern Westerwald and the tranquility of the vacation home and its surroundings. Relax under the old cherry tree in the garden or walk to the edge of the forest in a few minutes and explore a network of paths along rivers, meadows and forests. The vacation home is located on the edge of Kroppacher Switzerland in Brunken, a district of Selbach/Sieg. From the vacation home you can hike or cycle directly.

Private access & private parking available. Every 30 min. S-Bahn connection to Cologne.

These are the two forest cottages that belong together (residential house and sauna house), which are located directly in the Nisterschleife and on the Westerwaldsteig. In the middle of nature and surrounded by trees, you can only hear the gentle lapping of the river - a place to switch off and relax. Every season has its special charm here. The immediate location on the water invites you to take a dip in the river.
