Family-friendly holiday rentals in Helgeland

We were 5 adults who wanted to get to know this area of Helgeland/Northern Norway better. We were not disappointed - despite a few days of rain. The apartment was large with all necessary features. In addition, there is a large patio area on 3 sides of the house, and with a large and warm jacuzzi on the west side of the balcony. Easy access to the dock, and to a big 19 foot boat with a quiet outboard motor. In addition, there was a Garmin GPS with sonar so the trip was safer. Since we arrived in two electric cars, it was okay to charge the cars there. Very good service from both Kenneth and its neighbors! It's easy to recommend this place to anyone seeking tranquility, silence and beautiful nature.

I can’t recommend this place enough... it’s comfortable and cozy, absolutely beautiful views from every window. They make delicious cheese with the milk from their goats, really good bread, fresh fish... just great.

Nice place, nice and good host

Awesome place! We were three families who had a great time for a weekend at Basecamp Helgeland. Several nephews had been to camp school here, so we were a little excited about what met us…… A fantastic nice host, the place had little camp school burden. Nice rooms and good beds for big and small. The small gymnasium between living/dining room and kitchen was perfect activity place for everyone. We had a great time with fishing, mountain hiking, volleyball, floorball, games and beautiful nature, and would love to come back! This should have been more advertised for. Many we know in the immediate area had not heard of the place, and was wondering if this was the place the kids had been to camp school…. Perfect place for celebrating round days with friends, family gatherings, and more.

The views are magical from the porch , sauna and jacuzzi absolutely superb. Very good kitchen and place for many in the house. Close to the hike, ski and fishing , Ludvig is a helpful host.

Great location with fishing just outside the door. Nice common areas with multiple kitchens. Worth a visit.

The cabin is very cozy and the surrounding area beatutiful and calm! We stayed for 2 nights and were very happy with this small cabin. Jan communicated how to get to the cabin, which was very helpful.

Very nice accommodation in Kittelfjäll. We had very nice days with many long snowmobile tours as the weather may not really be on our side this time.

The place was lovely and in walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go. We felt right at home during our stay. Frank-Håvard was extremely responsive and helpful to our requests. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed at Nina's cozy cabin for a week and felt completely at home! The place is even nicer and cozier than in the photos and everything is super clean and tidy. The location is quiet and secluded in the middle of nature, we did great hikes and explored the area. On top, we could watch the aurora lights from the front door right on the first evening!

We stayed at Catherine's place for one night. It is a beautiful house with amazing river and mountain views. House is spacious, clean and has all necessary amenities. Catherine responded to our messages quickly. For us, the best part of this stay was the beautiful and peaceful surroundings. We hope we can come back again for a longer stay.

Nice accommodation close to both Hemavan and Tärnaby, extra plus for the wood-fired sauna!

Cozy house with good bedrooms to sleep in which was our purpose. Homey with the cat coming in and getting some food before it would go out again ...

Me and my husband, with my grandparents stayed here Friday-Sunday. It was a nice surprise waiting for us when the cabin arrived, good beds and clean in the cabin. A peaceful area that was nice to walk in, not long bit to Bodø or Saltstraumen. Really recommended, warm and pleasant host! If we are going to Bodø in the future, we will take the journey here!

Very nice house and good hosting. Great terrace and close to the shop. Recommend the local inn, Persplassen. We had 9 nice days with sun, boat, bike, museum visit, and some rain:)

We had a pleasant stay. The apartment was clean and spacious. Close to a petrol station and a grocery store. Nice view from the apartment. I recommend this place.
