Beachfront holiday rental in Hele Bay

What a special place this is. Me and my sister wanted to stay near the harbour as we know the area well, and Julie's apartment was perfect. It has the most wonderful views of the sea from the lounge and kitchen, plus the spectacular coastline from the balcony. As an added bonus the bedrooms look out over the town and harbour. We felt right at home as soon as we walked in and the apartment has everything you need - and some! It's warm, cosy and very clean; also so peaceful and relaxing to be able to sit and just watch the sea. Even though it wasn't warm enough for us to sit out on the balcony, we could still enjoy the amazing views. On the first night we enjoyed our fish and chips from nearby Maddy's and had a lovely meal in Santiago's the second night, which is also close by. It was very difficult to tear ourselves away after our long weekend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Anchors Away apartment which was tastefully decorated, spotless and very comfortable. The hot tub was an added bonus which afforded a wonderful sea view and also a delightful view of the occasional steam engine chugging along the picturesque Somerset Heritage Railway line. This is a lovely tranquil spot from which to explore the many attractions of Somerset, Exmoor and North Devon

Wonderful place, perfect for a surfing trip and super handy for places to eat in town. Parking plus electric charging was ideal! Our dog loved it and felt instantly at home. Will be coming back!

Highly recommend this cottage. We went as a family to celebrate my mums 80th birthday and it was perfect. Quiet, with stunning surrounding views and a beautiful sunset view. Fab memories that will last forever. Thank you.

Really nice stay. Ruth was helpful & responded quickly. The house slept 4 of us comfortably and was lovely & warm. It couldn’t have been better for access to the beach where winter dipping in the sea meant we could get back quickly & warm up. Highly recommended & Hele Bay is one of the nicest spots you could hope for.

Lovely home, well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. Great for 4 legged friends with a secure garden and suitable furnishings etc. The home is in a lovely area , with great views over the estuary from the rear of the house, particularly the main bedroom. Bideford itself is very pretty and a good base for exploring North Devon as it is close to the A39 / Atlantic Highway.

This property is exactly as described, in a position of fairly easy access to two lovely coves and a short twenty minute walk to Woolacombe's sandy main beach. On the edge of National Trust land with plenty of walks. The property is well equipped and to a high standard. While we were there we bumped into the owner Stephen who was very friendly and informative directing us to various local restaurants/pubs and places of interest. A must is the Sri lankan curry on Barricane beach, don't forget to take your bottle of wine. Julia the co-host ensured we were kept informed of the check in procedure and that we were happy with our accommodation. This premises fitted out requirements to a T, relaxing location, quiet and good value, we will definitely be recommending it to family and friends.

Couldn’t be happier with our stay! Beautiful house and was exactly what we wanted, Joanne the host was great and was easy to get hold of, would 100% recommend this place to stay in bude and will hopefully be coming back again ourselves!

Lovely and clean, facilities in the holiday village were great. Pool lovely and bar nice and friendly.

Dear Sir / Madam, It was a lovely location and easy to get to. We are appreciative of the complimentary beer, wine and sweets that awaited our arrival! The only issue was it was impossible to lock and unlock the first door on the right using the key. Overall, a great location for families and friends to stay for the weekend or week. Loved the Caravan clear instructions as to how to access and gain entry which was useful as we did not realise just how big the site was! It was very clean warm and comfortable also very well equipped. I have to say I did not read the instructions carefully enough and brought no bedding with us. This was resolved via the Reception on the site and for a small deposit we were provided with bedding which was delivered! Deposit returned on return of the bedding so no crisis. Lots of lovely walking from the caravan perfect for the dog. We were visiting friends in the area and would definitely consider coming again.

We really enjoyed the stay at Butlins. We had a fantastic time. The shows were good. The food at the resort was excellent and the staff there was always friendly and helpfull.

We really enjoyed our stay at No9 putsborough, Kathryn was so helpful, communication was excellent. The apartment was out of this world, never stayed somewhere where the owner had thought about all the little touches. The welcome hamper was such a lovely touch after our 5 hour drive down. Our doggy Reggie loved how close we were to the beach, he really enjoyed the outdoor warm shower. People around woolacombe are so friendly, we will definitely be back next year. Beautiful place, highly recommend. The apartment was perfect, immaculately clean throughout and a fully equipped kitchen. We felt very much at home and the space was a relaxing and calming environment for us and our two Dogs. Great location, close to the beach, local shops and bars. Thank you for letting us stay.

Perfect accommodation in a fantastic location with great views over the Atlantic ocean. Watching the sea whilst enjoying a glass of wine in the hot tub, after a long day exploring this beautiful area was just perfect. The host, Sharon, checked in on us via a message to make sure everything was OK We visited Ilfracombe, Woolacombe and Bude during our stay and this holiday was made all the better in that the sun shone down on us all week. 🌞🌞☀️☀️🥂👍👍

Just got back from a fantastic few days in Woolacombe. Apartment was fab, clean and tidy with everything you could possibly need including buckets and spades for the kids (huge hit) Location could not have been any closer to the beach. Views were insane. Can not fault Chris the host. Very helpful and easy to get hold of. Overall would 100% recommend and we are all looking forward to returning again in the future

Perfect location to explore the area, especially for the Maritime Festival which was right outside and a great atmosphere. Very well equipt house and felt home from home. The only thing I would say is that the floorboards upstairs are very noisy and the bedroom doors squeak so might not be the best for light sleepers, didn't bother us too much as had young children so we knew when they got up in the night 🤣🤣

Lovely house and garden minutes from a great beach. The open plan living space was great for our holiday. The house was great for our (soon to be) two year old daughter. Bedrooms were spacious and the whole place had a nice feel.

This was SUCH a beautifully clean and well presented apartment! The sea view from the main front window is a bonus. Everything was just as described and SPOTLESSLY clean. Sheila has done such a great job of keeping the apartment extremely well maintained and it is the perfect balance of homely but not over cluttered. Response was immediate and we had no issues at all. There is a nice Weatherspoons pub and a lovely Italian restaurant all within seconds from the front door. We were walking the coastal path so it was a joy to come back to a warm cosy flat. There are DVD's to enjoy and a large TV with lots of channels. Internet connection was perfect. No noise from other people in the flats. It is on the top floor so you have no-one to hear above you. Everything was simply 110%. One of the best Air BnB's we have stayed in for comfort and cleanliness.

Lovely apartment, with an amazing view. Ideal for a family of 4 staying in Infracombe. Melanie is was an excellent host, very responsive and without us asking made us aware the apartment was ready for check in 3 hours early, which was very much appreciated! The apartment had all the amenities needed and it looked exactly as it does in the pictures. A complimentary bottle of wine and packet of Devon shortbread biscuits was also a nice touch. Would love to return if we visit the area again.
