Lovely place in the woods with plenty of possibilities for hiking, cycling, swimming and more. Charming and practical interior with nice terrace and BBQ. We had a fantastic weekend and definitely could ‘onthaasten’

We had a fantastic extended weekend at Ellen's vacation home! Worth more than 5 stars! The cottage is located on a beautiful part of Sunclass Sonnevijver. Quiet and in the forest. It is right on Hoge Kempen National Park and you can get into the woods in no time. Within walking distance we also found a loose forest for our dog. He loved it! We walked a lot of miles! Check-in is via the reception of the park. This went smoothly and we were also very kindly received there. The cottage itself was squatter upon our arrival! Everything is present in the cottage, and nothing was really missing in the kitchen. Nice were the games we found in the living room. The beds are very good quality. We slept like roses. In the storage room we saw bicycles and mountain bikes (but we did not use them ourselves) The garden is very cozy and spacious, but now it was still a bit too fresh for us to sit outside. In short, highly recommended for us!!!

Beautiful location and surrounding area. Sauna was wonderful too. Had all the basics we needed for a nice short stay.

It is a very nice, nicely decorated house with everything you need. A beautiful private garden in a beautiful, green area. Nicole is very hospitable and likes to think along. I definitely recommend this location!

The cottage is lovely, very cosy and practical, with underfloor heating that kept the autumn weather outside. It's surrounded by beautiful trees and a short walk to the lake. Our kids appreciated the big box of Duplo and the beautiful nature on our doorstep.

Everything was perfect and exactly as promised in pictures and descriptions. We felt completely comfortable and loved every little detail in the house. Looking forward to seeing you again

We had a nice night away in this fully cared for cottage in a special place (an old factory site, which still feels very "in nature").

We had a few nice days in a quiet and tidy accommodation. The area is beautiful, and you can do a lot with the bikes.

The accommodation was superbly located to explore the area on foot or by car. The apartment was modern and the kitchen super equipped :) the bed was a little too soft for us, but that's a matter of taste. The living room is relatively dark, as the windows are quite small. Communication with the landlord was straightforward! :)

We did a men's trip with father, father-in-law and brother-in-law. From fishing, to the sauna and the pool, everything was possible. When we arrived, the sauna was already preheated. 👍🏼 I thought it was really good and thought about coming back soon.

The house is modern and very well maintained. it was very comfortable and Bastien's instructions were very easy to follow. The surroundings are very peaceful and welcoming to just go for a stroll anytime. Lee, Poo and Croque were friendly and chilling out in the garden. Overall, it was a place we would definitely recommend to others.

Nice place to stay, nice on a fishing lake where the dog can be walked

We meet with anotyher family once a year and this time, by far, we have had the best experience comparing with other years. The house was confortable, really clean and in a beatiful location. The kids had so much fun with playing pin pon and with with other games you can find in the house. You can also enjoy the area, perfect for hicking. We´ve had the best of times and I recommend it.

We had a very relaxing and nice weekend in this gem in the trees. The surroundings were beautiful and the cottage nice and cozy. The hot tub is a very great added value. Highly recommend!

Despite the rainy weather, we had a very nice stay! The accommodation is fantastically quiet in a beautiful park with a great lake - a real highlight in the sunshine. But our daughter learned to ride a bike here despite the bad weather and that was our goal!! The hosts also thought of the little ones: there were plenty of toys, which made the rainy days much more pleasant. The kitchen was well equipped, we didn't lack anything. Overall, a very lovingly designed place with lots of peace and nature – we'd love to come back!

Tom was very accurate and very attentive. Thank you so much for trying to find a crib with sheets and blankets for my little girl, even though it wasn't generally offered. The place was clean and complete with everything you need in an apartment. It would also have been helpful to have a small iron and equipment more suitable for recycling garbage. We had some difficulty finding the cottage because the quality of the map sent on the chat was low and unfortunately we did not have a paper one. Otherwise, great! Thank you so much Tom for your hospitality! 😊

Our stay was really successful all around. The accommodation is extremely tastefully furnished – with a lot of attention to detail and a warm, inviting atmosphere. We were particularly impressed by the well-equipped kitchen: you can really find everything you need for cooking here. A real highlight was the fireplace, which created a wonderfully cosy atmosphere in the evenings and perfectly rounded off the ambience. We very much enjoyed staying here for a few days and experiencing the tranquility and comfort of this beautiful place. Communication with Stefan was also pleasant, warm and uncomplicated at all times. Thank you for this beautiful time – we will be happy to come back!
