Guesthouse in the North Frisian countryside

The house where the farmer used to live with his family has been converted into a comfortable apartment with a spacious living room and open kitchen downstairs, overlooking the meadows and the terpkerk of Wanswert. The apartment is in personal style and fully furnished. Where possible, we used second chance furniture. Together with the piano and comfortable wood stove, a nice living climate is created. The apartment has a cozy private garden all around, a private front door and lots of privacy.

Dream house in Friesland on the Dokkumer Ee

Holiday home Tergreft is a beautiful cozy home on the Dokkumer Ee (The Elfstedentocht route) The house was just renovated and has a combined design of old and modern with all the needed facilities. The house offers the possibility to rest, enjoy the Dokkumer Ee and the beautiful ships that pass by, bird watching, cycling. Within 20 minutes of driving you will get to Leeuwarden or Dokkum both interesting. There is also a 2 persons canoe and two sup boards that can be used free of charge.

Scandinavian Log Cabin in Friesland

Our log cabin in Friesland is the ideal accommodation to enjoy peace and space. The log cabin is located on my parents' quiet mini-camping. (Please note, the cabin is not on Terschelling). As a guest, you can use all the facilities of the campsite, such as the toilet and shower, kitchen and spacious canteen. The cabin itself has its own seating area, bedroom, kitchen block and toilet. The showers are located in the shared sanitary area of the campsite.

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. The apartment was realized in 2021 and equipped with all the comforts. There is a lovely bed with luxury bedding. The bathroom has a rain shower, soft towels and Meraki shower gel and shampoo. There is also underfloor heating in the apartment and a kitchen equipped with oven, spacious refrigerator and induction stove. The apartment has its own private garden for guests. Rinsumageast, cozy cottage located on the edge of the forest.

Within 10 minutes, you can be in Dokkum, and within half an hour, you can be in Leeuwarden or Drachten. You can park for free at the forest, right next to the cottage. All basic facilities are available, and this allows you to fully relax and enjoy your stay in Rinsumageast!"

Close to the city centre of Leeuwarden is Woodpecker, a spacious and bright 100 sqm bungalow. You have a private entrance and the Woodpecker has two spacious bedrooms, both with a private shower and toilet. The kitchen is equipped with all the basic comforts. At the edge of Burgum, at the back of the yard, is our summer cottage. A former horse barn that we have converted into an independent space overlooking a beautiful piece of meadow, where rabbits and storks can be spotted now and then!
