This is a rare opportunity to stay in a traditional Miller's House located on the same property as an authentic 1632 Dutch Windmill. This beautiful cabin offers privacy, nature and canals on both sides, yet is only 1.5 miles (2.4km) from town and a 40 minute train ride to Amsterdam. This cabin was hand built with love & care and it is a pleasure to share it with guests from all around the world. Ons chalet staat in het mooie rustige Waarland. Wat te doen in Waarland : Vlinderado, indoor minigolf, boot huren via HappyWale, buitenzwembad Waarland. Binnen 25 minuten rijden ben u bij het strand van Callantsoog of het mooie duingebied in Schoorl. De mooie steden Alkmaar en Schagen (15 minuten rijden) zijn ook zeker de moeite waard om te bezoeken. Vakantierijk Waarland is bezig met het park te vernieuwen. Onze chalet staat aan de rand van de camping waardoor u er weinig last van heeft.

Our B&B is located in the heart of Waarland, with Alkmaar, Schagen and Heerhugowaard within cycling distance. It is a guest house for 4 people, suitable for a family with older children. There is no train station in Waarland and in the evening there are no buses. Without a car, we may not be the right location. For stays longer than 5 days, a discount is given, but you have to take care of the breakfast yourself.

You will find the cottage on a little island called De Woude. It is a true paradise for birdwatchers, hikers and fishermen but if you want visit Alkmaar, Zaanse schans, Amsterdam ore you want to go to the beach you will be there in ca. 35 minutes by car. With a ferry you get to the island. The ferry goes back and forth all day until 23:00. Cars are allowed. their is a private parking place near the cottage.
