We had a great stay at Marlieke's place and fellt right at home after arival. The cottage is very clean, spacious and has everything you need. Marlieke has really thought of whatever her guests might need, from a well stocked fridge and welcoming snacks, high quality kitchen material, to even a sewing kit in case your button falls off and toys to make our daughter feel energised after a long flight. The beds are high quality, the bath luxurious, and the view amazing. With a car you can reach all interesting places (Amsterdam, Utrecht, castle, woods etc) within half an hour. Marlieke has prepared several information maps for day trips and IJsselstein itself is also a lovely little town where we went often for coffee etc. Marlieke responded quickly to all my questions and gave very useful practical suggestions. The family is lovely and our daughter enjoyed playing with the youngest girls and Soof the dog. She was also very happy to be allowed to help take care of all the animals!

We had a great time in Francesca's chalet. The accommodation was very clean, so we had no concerns about letting our baby play on the floor. The apartment is well equipped with everything you need for a holiday. We were particularly pleased with the board games in the living room drawer. The beds were very comfortable and the bed linen smelled very fresh, so we felt comfortable right away.

It was nice and everything is always nicer when the sun is shining but in all cases: - very nice, cozy cottage - terrace directly overlooking the pond (exciting conversations with local ducks) - very easy check-in and responsive host - superb sunset to end the day while eating on the terrace.

A great and clean house in a quiet neighborhood. With 8 people, we got along with the rooms and bathroom spaces. Pool was in our satisfaction!

We had a fantastic time at this lovely apartment. The sea view balcony is fantastic. The apartment is spacious and equipped with every comfort. 2 beautiful spacious bedrooms and bathrooms and a nice loft. Beach right in front of the door and several restaurants and beach bars nearby. We also found surprisingly nice. Cruise through the sea lock is recommended.

Our host was incredibly nice and reactive. We definitely recommend her and her amazing house on the lac. The views and nature are stunning. We had so many beautiful activities (boat with a licence, free kayac, Gouda visits and museum, walks and bykes, restaurants). Clearly I have fallen in love with the region

My friend and I choose to stay here, since it was close to Zaanse-Schaans and Amsterdam Noord. And I must say: It’s the nicest Airbnb I’ve ever been to so far. I’d definitely recommend it to others, who’d like to wind out and relax after a very long day in the city and just wanna feel like home: this is the place. Marjolein has put so much love and detail to make this place super cozy. I really loved it. And the neighborhood feels super safe and there are some cafes close by with a nice view of the harbor. Definitely a must stay place, if you’re looking for a relaxing place. Thanks a lot Marjolein for letting us stay here.

We had a nice stay at Aarts house and enjoyed the cozy and rural landscape. The apartment offered enough room for a group of 13. A special thing were the animals that we were allowed to pet. Very cute. We highly recommend to visit this house.

We spontaneously booked with Beke for 4 days and everything went very smoothly from the beginning. She welcomed us very warmly and we immediately felt very comfortable in the beautiful accommodation. The house is very lovingly furnished and has everything we wanted. A nice place to relax. The surroundings of the house are also very beautiful and it is even possible to reach the beach within about 70 minutes through the nature reserve. We were also able to reach the beach easily by car and park for free in the nearby area. The proximity to Alkmaar, a beautiful, cosy town, is also very pleasant. There are many beautiful restaurants and small shops. We enjoyed our time at Beke very much and will be happy to come back. Thank you again for the loving hospitality. We enjoyed wonderful days in the great house. The two were always there for us with questions, tips for things to do in the area. The handout with information about the house was very helpful and in addition, the two were always available to us and very warm.

Had a great time at this AirBnB in Uitgeest. Walter the host was very responsive and swift. Communication was great. He helped us with instructions for the kitchen and getting access to the property. It was a quiet and peaceful stay. Shopping was easy by foot or car. The apartment was very clean and we really enjoyed the backyard view towards the water. The kitchen was well outfitted and the bathrooms hygienic. The local community seemed very respectful and friendly. Me and my family had a good time in this spot.

Excellent stay with Eva who welcomed us because we had arrived on the other side of the place where we had to spend. Quiet, relaxing with the outdoor terrace and the small path. You can go to the beach through the village, SPAR next door, lots of little candy touches, tulips, tea, cakes... Very convenient to park in front of the SPAR lots of free places, a real plus, zero stress. Convenient to visit the kekeunhof We recommend

A lovely quiet place,everything you need is there,even ice cubes and washcloths.😀 Everything has been thought of. Indeed a wonderful bed, spacious bedroom and bathroom, where you can store your things. Nice and flexible hosts and a beautiful environment. Supermarket and restaurants close by. We were guests in Marja's house for a week in June 2025 and felt very comfortable. Our 15-year-old daughter had her own kingdom upstairs with a bathroom and enjoyed it very much😉. The house offers a good starting point for various activities - very good train connection to Amsterdam, wonderful bike tours in the area or just a visit to the beach. Gladly again!

This house is absolutely amazing. If you’re looking for a peaceful stay in the woods in a beautiful home then this is place. The house had everything we needed and more. A short drive into the town which had great restaurants and grocery stores. Only a 30 minute drive into Amsterdam. Would absolutely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay in Castricum - Frank is a lovely and attentive host and was on hand to answer any questions and give recommendations for food and drink nearby. Castricum is a great hub to get to lots of places nearby (Haarlem, Alkmaar, Amsterdam) and the beach is fairly close too!

Everything was perfect! Coffee & tea supplied. Lovely apartment, lent us bikes foc. We used the pick up service from Amsterdam Centraal Station which was friendly, convenient & punctual. It was also good value for money. Best AirBnB so far! Thank you Bart, Elias & Renee.

Lovely stay in a beautiful location with easy access to Amsterdam using public transport. Very helpful hosts with frequent communication answering any questions and even booking dinner on our behalf. Highly recommended!

The house is very spacious, clean and has a great outdoor space. The bathroom is a stand out with a large shower and double sink. You can walk to the shops, restaurants and sightseeing in the city centre. Would certainly return to this gem in Alkmaar.

We had a wonderful holiday at Willems' place, I did not expect to be in his house but everything is done to be comfortable. A small booklet is put down so we know what to do in the area. It helps a lot and is super responsive when asked how to access a place. Thanks again
