Holiday rentals with an accessible-height bed in Hebrides

Mary has a very nice top floor flat on the edge of Dunoon. The property has good sized rooms and is well equipted with everything you would need. The location suited us well it that it is convenient for locations such as Benmore Botanical Gardens and other places of local interest. A half hour drive to the short drive on drive off ferry crossing at Conintraive made for an easy and scenic journey to Rothesay. All in Marys property is very convenient and good value, and we would have no hesitation booking again in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay at the property. The location is excellent—very convenient, just near the castle and within walking distance of many of Edinburgh’s main tourist attractions. Kenny and co-host were both very kind and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed.

Kay's place was like a home from home for me. Everything was clean, well to hand. Quiet location with great view from living room. The added touch of supplying fresh milk, bread, eggs and margarine was a thoughful touch after the long 8 hours drive to Alness. If I am ever back in the area again I'd definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

Super comfortable & homely. We loved the hot rainfall shower, warm rooms & soft, spotless carpets. Cosying up on the sofa to watch a film in the evening was just lovely. A home away from home. Thank you Tony & Jayne.

Amazing location with easy access to all the Edinburgh has to offer. The apartment was quite spacious and everything functioned as promised. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.

The place was very comfortable, and the host responded incredibly quickly, which made the stay even better. The location is close to the city center, and there’s convenient transportation directly from the airport, so it’s easy to get to. I’d love to stay here again next time!

Clean and stylish place, nice utensils, clean beddings though price a bit high, friends said worth it

We loved our stay at Kate's apartment. Firstly, Kate is a fantastic host and communication was spot on prior to our visit. The apartment is well looked after, spotlessly clean and maintained to a high standard. Everything has been well thought out and you will absolutely 100% have everything you need for your stay. We loved that the apartment had a 'home from home' feel to it; our 3 year old and 19 month daughters loved exploring (it's a bit of a tardis with plenty of space!) and really appreciated the toys that were there. The local area is ideal for exploring all that the peak district has to offer. Highly recommend trips to Thornbridge Estate and hiring bikes along the Monsal trail. If you want to stay in and cook then it's no problem as the apartment has everything you need however you won't go far wrong if you decide to eat at Toll Bar Chippy (about a minutes stroll down the hill) or Stella's Kitchen located not far from Eyam. Overall, highly recommended. Would love to return.

Happy with all aspects, great location for those visiting Whitby. We were only there for a wedding but as was so close to the town we walked down on our last day for a couple of hours. Road parking is fine, plenty of room where you can see the car from the house windows. All good, thank you

This house is simply amazing. The open plan living area and views from it are stunning. It was such a joy to come back from sightseeing every day and relax in this space. The kitchen is very well equipped and the furniture extremely comfy. None of us wanted to leave and there is so much to do in the area we could easily have stayed a lot longer. X4 of us on mountain bikes stayed for x2 nights , couldn’t fault it, Willie nice and friendly and gives good advice about local pubs and restaurants etc the bike storage was brilliant beds were comfy everything worked as it should and to add to it there was some lovely cake left for us along with milk butter tea coffee etc, when we come back we will be certainly be booking here again. Our first ever Airbnb stay and what a great one to be our first. Lovely hosts who kept us well informed all along. House was very comfy and had everything we needed. Lovely decor. No parking but easy to park on the street at all times

We loved our stay. The house (Byre) is beautiful and far more spacious than photos give credit for. Added bonus for us, wheelchair accessable from patio doors into kitchen/dinning/lounge area. Wheelchair accessible into downstairs bathroom/shower and bedroom. There is a shower stool in cupboard next to bathroom. The upstairs landing area has a cosy couch/snug between bedrooms and upstairs toilet/Shower room. Beautiful scenory surrounding Cottages and we all completely felt at home and relaxed instantly. House very clean and fresh. Stranraer in walking distance with pavement at road end of cottages. Lovely walking options around cottages. Kitchen comes very well equipped and decent sized fridge freezer. We look forward to returning.

Martina is a beautiful lady. Her hospitality is superb. The accommodation is perfect , spotlessly clean and so comfortable. Everything is just beautiful.

Great location for the Peak District! Lovely accommodation. Tony was incredibly responsive, gave good instructions on how to arrive and was helpful whenever I contacted him, you can tell a lot of thought has gone in to the space. The shower was lovely and powerful. Something that was really appreciated after the long walks. Bed was really comfortable and seemed much larger than a queen size bed, sheets were lovely and clean. Appreciated having a parking place so close to where we were staying. Views across to the reservoir were amazing, we took a walk across the road to it and they were lovely, beautiful nature walk along the reservoir just across the road. Peaks cavern only 40 minutes away and the b29 crash sight parking only a 15minute drive away. Would recommend this stay and will definitely be returning.

Great location to explore Crieff on foot. McRosty Park was great and kept the kids entertained for hours. Highly recommend Bannister's bagels for lunch. Salt beef was amazing. Catrina's place was spacious and comfortable.

Very nice flat with balcony and view overlooking water of Leith. Great location, peaceful surroundings. Included parking was great for day road trips to places around Edinburgh.

We are just back home after a short break in Lochaline. It really is a beautiful apartment with an amazing view across the water to Mull. The house was fully accessible with parking right outside the door, all on one level and an easily accessible shower. Very much needed for me as I’m disabled and it can be so hard to find suitable places to stay. The house was very clean with a great selection of utensils and supplies like fairy and dishwasher tablets. I highly recommend a stay at Lesley’s place!

What a fantastic place to stay in Edinburgh! So central yet nice and quiet. We stayed with our one year old son and it was great having a travel cot and high chair at the flat. We used the kitchen during our stay which was very functional. I would 100 percent stay here again when next in Edinburgh. Thank you Sonia and Chris!
