Our lovely annex was build in 1968, few years later than the main house where we live. It has been fully rennovated to accomodate a full kitchen, bathroom and a living area with a double bed and a vintage couch. We wanted to bring back some of the farmhouse charm with wood floors, raw tiles and a good twist of rural mystic. The kitchen was hand made from scratch to perfectly take you to a past now forgotten. Near my place, Salpausselkä geopark 4 km, Messilä ski resort 5 km, Okeroinen riding stable, bus stop 1.3 km, nearest shop about 2 km. Okeroinen mill 1 km, cycling terrain from the front door. The accommodation is suitable for couples, solo travelers, business travelers and those who enjoy outdoor activities.

The House with a Spa

Paritalon toinen puolikas, isäntäväki asuu toisella puolella. Pari makuuhuonetta, isot oleskelutilat, keittiö ja saunaosasto. Käytössä myös terassi ja aidattu takapiha. Rauhallinen omakotitaloalue. Olemme järven lähellä, mutta rantaan ei ole pääsyä. Lähimmät uimarannat ovat Idänpään tai Matkolammin uimaranta, jotka molemmat sijaitsevat noin 1,5 km päässä. Hämeenlinnan keskusta on vain reilun kolmen kilometrin päässä, ja lähimmälle golfkentällekin on vain reilu kilometri.

Countryside home near Nuuksio Forest

My place used to be an attic of a barn, but now it is a cozy home with everything you need for modern life. We are situated very close to Nuuksio National Park: mushroom and berry picking is possible close-by. With some luck you can see elks and deers from the terrace. The house easily takes four people, but with with sofas and additional mattresses, a few more. Pets are welcome, if they behave. Sauna is available upon request and for a 20€ fee.
