Cottage on the shore of Lake Isojärvi

Idyllic log cabin at the end of the road by the lake. The cottage is well equipped and suitable for year-round use. Kitchen and living room, a warming fireplace, sleeping alcove and two separate beds on the upper floor. Possibility to rent an outdoor guest room for two people in addition. (4+2) The cottage has electricity and running water from the well. Wood-fired sauna and shower. In the yard area, there is a private hot tub (use for an additional fee) and a barbecue hut, as well as a clean outdoor toilet. An old rowboat is available.

The log house has fresh air, you get a good night's sleep. A respite from the hustle and bustle. The location is central: 1 hour drive to Helsinki, 30 min to Hyvinkää, Hämeenlinna 40 min. The house was built in 1914. The spirit of the villa is a bit like a detached house and a cottage in the countryside. The personal log house is like the story of Pippi Longstocking, not everything is completely finished - but the atmosphere is atmospheric. Only 30 minutes from Tampere! The wooden sauna on the upper terrace is literally on the lake, in breathtaking lake scenery. After the sauna, you can enjoy the fireplace and let your thoughts calm down by the water. For an additional fee (€40), you can also use a hot tub to complement your relaxation.

This atmospheric 2-person beach cottage is for you, who appreciate the tranquility of the countryside, the proximity of nature and the leisurely moments by the water. The cottage is located on a beautiful, rocky lakeside plot, in the courtyard of the main building, which is in use all year round. Access to the beach is via stairs or, alternatively, a more gentle path. The cottage rental includes linen, towels and tablecloths. The nearest shop and pharmacy can be found in Kylmäkoski, just 4.5 km away.

The Birgitta trail hiking trail and the Lempäälä canoeing trail run alongside. 2 km to the cross-country ski trails. 1.2 km to the train station, from which you can go to Tampere (12 min) and Helsinki (1h20min). Ideapark shopping center 7km.

A new, well-equipped log cabin built 2018 with a good access to the main roads and nearby cities. The cabin is located on a hill with a great view to a big lake. The cabin is surrounded by great berry forests, hiking trails and a lake rich in fish. In the cabin you have a wood burning sauna, a fireplace, a grill shelter, a hot tub and a boat. Winter time you can do cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, snowboarding, ice fishing and snowshoe trekking.The nearest ski center is in Sappee (30km)

Welcome to our private cottage to enjoy your stay! Our small (37 m2) but comfortable cottage includes small kitchen with all amenities included (airfryer, no oven), big traditional finnish sauna, bathroom and tiny toilet. A/C (movable device, on request) makes your stay pleasant also in summer and the cottage is heated year around. For sleeping there is one queen bed (160 cm). Baby bed and one mattress 80x200cm available if needed. For safety reasons the hosts will warm up the sauna for you.

Paritalon toinen puolikas, isäntäväki asuu toisella puolella. Pari makuuhuonetta, isot oleskelutilat, keittiö ja saunaosasto. Käytössä myös terassi ja aidattu takapiha. Rauhallinen omakotitaloalue. Olemme järven lähellä, mutta rantaan ei ole pääsyä. Lähimmät uimarannat ovat Idänpään tai Matkolammin uimaranta, jotka molemmat sijaitsevat noin 1,5 km päässä. Hämeenlinnan keskusta on vain reilun kolmen kilometrin päässä, ja lähimmälle golfkentällekin on vain reilu kilometri.
