This was by far the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed at. The cottage is absolutely stunning—charming, cozy, and immaculately clean. Every little detail has been thoughtfully considered, and it had everything we could possibly need for a comfortable and memorable stay. Hathersage itself is a beautiful village and the perfect base for incredible walks through the Peak District. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was the cottage and the special memories we created there—it will always hold a special place in our hearts as the place where we got engaged. Claire was an amazing host—so welcoming, responsive, and clearly dedicated to making her guests feel at home. We can’t recommend this place enough and hope to return one day!

Four of us stayed, two couples and a dog. The accommodation was excellent, very clean with everything we needed for our stay. The view from the livingroom was fantastic.

Netherhurst cottage is beautiful. Spotlessly clean and beautifully appointed, what an amazing find! Diana is a perfect host and obviously cares very much. Surrounded by beautiful countryside and perfectly located for some peace and quiet. It’s really close to some spectacular walks and cycle rides and the village of Hathersage is a short drive with plenty of options for eating, drinking and basic shopping. Highly recommended.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the old Yoga Studio, a quirky but very comfortable and peaceful place within easy walking distance from the railway station. Communication with Kat was excellent and she was a very friendly host, always quick to answer any queries we had. Hathersage is a fabulous base for walking with lots of interesting hikes from the door and good public transport for hikes further afield. The scenery is stunning, the village has plenty of good places to eat and a couple of shops for groceries plus a greengrocer and a bakery - so a perfect location for a car-free holiday. We were blessed with gorgeous spring weather but also enjoyed a few games of ping-pong in the studio in the evenings - just wonderful!
