Hooistek is a cozy and fairly modern holiday home behind a rural, detached house, easy to reach from the Geel Oost exit of the E313. Hooistek has its own entrance, has free WiFi. The holiday accommodation includes a private sauna that can be booked separately. Breakfast is available at a small extra charge. Gerhaegen nature reserve is within walking distance; princely De Merode is nearby, as well as Averbode and Diest. Numerous cycling route networks crisscross the region.

We are pleased to introduce you to our little cosy guest house, De Kluut. The Kluut is a bird from the family of the waders. In the cottage you will find this in a subtle way in the decoration. It is also a reference to the phrase ‘getting to his cluten’, because this guest nest used to be the cell cube of the adjacent governor's barracks. So the former guests had gotten on their "clutes". In 2019, we completely renovated a part of our monumental farmhouse into a beautiful farmhouse; Hoeve de Bies. Hoeve de Bies has all the comforts. So you can enjoy a delicious breakfast with various homemade products. Due to its location, Hoeve de Bies is the ideal base for exploring the beautiful surroundings. So you can shop, and experience culture in Valkenburg and Maastricht. In addition, there are beautiful cycling and hiking routes to explore the Heuvelland.

Detached 70m2 cottage with 2 bedrooms, 2, kitchen, sitting area, terrace with beautiful views over the fields and a private garden. In the living room, there is a sofa bed provided, which allows us to accommodate up to 5 people. The cottage is located on the grounds of the former rectory. On the same premises, there is a second vacation cottage. Depending on availability, these can also be rented together. Then space can be provided for groups of up to 9 people.

During your stay in this spacious apartment, you will relax completely. There is room for 2 cars in the courtyard. In the shared garden is a trampoline and climbing rack. The living room has a TV, and pellet stove. Bathroom has a generous shower. The kitchen has a microwave/oven + dishwasher. The home has a double bed and a double sofa bed with comfortable topper. Ideal for long stays are the washing machine and dryer. There is air conditioning on both floors.

My accommodation is located in the heart of the village of Glons, in the Geer Valley. Glons is located 15 km north of Liège, between Maastricht and Tongeren. The village is served by a train station on the direct Liège-Antwerp line. Motorway access is 3 km away. You'll love my place because of its tranquility and proximity to important cultural centers. From the house, you can take the Ravel to Maastricht or Tongeren (also worth discovering!).
