I celebrated New Year with 3 friends at Veronica's cottage. Everything was nice and clean, the cottage was complete, and there was a nicely decorated Christmas tree for us. The area is beautiful, and it is very quiet. Perfect for a week to find peace close to nature. Restaurants and supermarket can be prepared with a car, but not super close. We stayed in winter, then there is quite little to do in the region. We were super satisfied, and it was perfect for us to read books for a week, play games, cook, nature in, and be cozy with each other.

We were 4 adults and 4 children, and we had room in the accommodation which is nice. The bed and bath linens were very clean , as well as the space itself . Too bad the property is missing wifi because the network in the village is not great. Rolls of toilet paper available would also be appreciated.

We had a lovely stay at Fred's cottage. He greeted us personally on the first day and also provided a great guest gift for us. The house was very clean and there was everything you needed. The area is great for hiking and Fred's restaurant tips were good too. Only about the location is to mention that the house is on a slightly more busy road. However, we didn't hear much about it. It was still quiet, especially in the evening.

Emilie and her family are very friendly and warm people and always ready to help and give tips. The apartment was very cozy and furnished with a lot of love for detail. They are also very animal-loving hosts. You just feel comfortable here and can really relax and leave the stress of everyday life behind. We will be happy to come back.

Great cottage ,very clean and very well equipped. No shops and restaurants nearby, a greenway to recommend. Great potential in terms of walking and maybe by bike but little info since there is no tourist office nearby. Quiet and cool place. Regret that checkout is as early as 10am. Recommended for a nice stay especially if the sun is out. We'll definitely be back.

Little slice of heaven in nature. The accommodation is exactly as described. It reallyhas everything to feel at home. The decor is beautiful and the bedding is very good quality. A clean and cosy house with the loveliest of hosts. The owners have been very helpful and kind, they even welcomed us with delightful home-made Christmas cookies and coffee. The house is situated in a small village within driving distance to beautiful towns and walking trails of Moselle and the Elsas.

The slightly different room

We were in the Palatinate for a longer hiking weekend and were warmly welcomed by Sabine. We had a room with bed/table and a very large bathroom with sauna /lounge chair. That was a great surprise. On the last evening we also used the sauna and it worked perfectly. Sabine and her partner gave good tips for hiking huts and restaurants.

There were six of us in the apartment and we enjoyed the time there. It is spacious and lovingly furnished, also the quiet location was perfect for us. Nearby there is a lot of forest, perfect for walking and by car or bus you can get to the city quickly. The landlady is super hospitable and we felt welcome from the beginning. We'll be back if we're in the area again!

We spent several days at Nathalie's. The accommodation is very nice and warm. Everything is done to make you feel good. We booked the place for a nice weekend in Strasbourg. There were six of us in total. The location of the house was wonderful and very quiet. The optimal possibility to park a larger car was provided. Contacting the hostess was excellent. Can recommend the house to anyone :)

Thierry's house is a gem in the middle of a large garden on the edge of a small village. It's very quiet and green. The house has a lot of space with many amenities such as a large pool, sauna, foosball, billiard table and an indoor stone oven for baking pizza (there are instructions in different languages). Thierry was very quickly available for any queries. Absolutely recommended.

Our stay in Birkenwald was a lovely experience. The cottage, located in a very quiet environment, is comfortable, extremely clean and very well arranged. Everything is decorated with taste. My family and I can only recommend staying with Matthieu who is an ideal host: friendly, helpful, welcoming, attentive, responsive. We'll be happy to come back to Birkenwald for a stay at La Grange.
