A beautiful retreat in a stunning location. The cottage was beautifully presented, clean and welcoming. Not only that but the hosts also are very generous and add additional touches - lovely Bread, butter, fudge, milk,wine- which is lovely to arrive to. The location is fantastic, just by the beach. A stunning location. We had such a wonderful stay and would recommend to anyone, we would definitely stay again.

We had lovely stay ! Beautiful, comfortable home in a picturesque setting. Very well equipped, had everything we needed. Venetia was very welcoming and helpful. Incredible value. Would visit again in an instant!

A beautiful apartment with genuinely stunning views from the balcony and living room. The amenities are excellent, and the hosts fab!

Great stay that gives you so much more than you would get for the same price as a Travelodge. Small but well laid out and ample room for 2 + infant and a dog. We particularly enjoyed the location.

We loved staying at the Coach house it was just as in the pictures, and clean/comfortable with many mod cons. The Cream tea provided was delicious and the milk from the Milkiosk was fun/special. Our spaniel loved the field to run round in, although he was a bit naughty on occasion straying with the excitement. The pool is heaven, especialy as it is timetabled per unit meaning we had it all to ourselves for our turns (what a great idea). Just a great location with some lovely beaches and walks along the coastline. We loved it so much we have already booked again for next year.

We had a lovely stay at the cottage. Clean, great views, peaceful setting and a perfect base for walking the south west coast path. Ken and Laura were excellent hosts and gave us lots of local information. We hope to return again soon. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay. We wish we could have stayed longer! The apartment was very clean, cosy and quiet and was perfect to be near the sea. Both the town centre and beach are a short walk away. The parking is a bit tight but we managed. Definitely perfect for a small car as described. It was nice to arrive to tea and coffee and milk in the fridge too. The weather wasn't great but the one glorious day made up for it!

Well, it’s safe to say we will be returning! From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we were made to feel at home. Sarah and Bee were incredibly welcoming hosts, taking us for a tour of our lodge as well as explaining in detail where all of the facilities were on site within 15minutes of arrival. We had everything we needed and more. Our one requirement was that we felt we could relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of a city. That we did! Located in a dark sky reserve, we had the pleasure of spending the evenings under the stars, listening to the wildlife, and spending quality time together. We had booked in for a very short stay of only two nights but we wish it had been longer, much longer. We cannot fault The Signal Box; everything to make a stay pleasant, convenient and enjoyable had been thought of. The exceptional view, the history of Luckett Station, the friendly sheep, the hot-tub, the superbly comfortable bed - all combined to make this an experience that we will remember for a long time to come. The entire property was beautifully kept, with immaculate gardens and a very high standard inside. The instructions for access on arrival to the property were clear and easy to follow and the business is obviously very well run. Definitely worth recommending to others and a return visit. Thank you for having us.

A lovely lodge in a small holiday park, the pool was an added bonus (outside and unheated but nice for a quick dip!)

We loved our stay at Anna’s place. It’s in the beautiful North Devon countryside but well situated to explore the rest of the area. We enjoyed using the pool but meeting the animals was definitely a highlight! We’ll be back to stay again :)

It was a beautiful experience for us. The way you organized the whole house and the facilities you provided over there was astonishing. My friends and my family were appraising during the whole time we spend there. Always Happy to be a part of your accommodations. Until next time.

We loved our trip to Goodleigh. The farm was beautiful, the stables were beautiful - the hot tub was a real treat. The kids loved the rope swing and we played many of the games. The place was just beautiful, the decor, location and comfy beds were perfect for our week away. We visited some lovely beaches (30 min drive tops), Combe Martin and Lynton/ Lynmouth were favourites of ours. We visited a recommended pub - The Black Venus Inn was amazing, food was great. A perfect week and would 100% recommend.

A great place to stay - the lodge was immaculate and had everything you could possibly need. It’s super close to the beach, town centre and supermarkets, but also far enough away to enjoy some peace and quiet. It’s been a lovely couple of days and we wish we could’ve stayed longer. The restaurant on site is a bit naff, £95 for 4 mains and a drink each, fine if you just want a quick drink - that’s more our fault for not paying attention to Sarah’s recommendations though. Thank you for being a great host, we’ll hopefully be able to stay with you again soon!

Fantastic location to explore from. Just a very short drive from Woolacombe but lovely and peaceful. Well equipped cottage and maintained to a high standard. The dog had a great time bounding through the hills and the kids didn’t argue too much about who got the top bunk!

A lovely few nights stay in this beautifully decorated barn. The place was spotless, and we felt right at home. With a 2 year old toddler, the toys, books & games were a very welcome addition, and it was great to explore the grounds. Becky was super responsive & provided some great location recommendations. We had a superb dinner at The Farmer’s Arms about 20 mins drive away, and it was handy to have the Old Smithy Inn just around the corner for dinner too! Would stay again

A haven of tranquility and peace. Right on the coast path which has stunning views. We walked to Spekes waterfall then onto Docton Mill for one of their award winning cream teas before walking 'home'. A beautiful walk which took about three hours plus time at the cafe. Hartland Quay is only a 16 minute drive and the walks around there are divine. The cottage had everything we needed. A lovely big bed, seats outside to enjoy the morning sun, a field for the dog to enjoy and much more. We thoroughly enjoyed our short time here (and also enjoyed chatting to Chris and Alan, and not forgetting Lola the friendly cockapoo, who were happy for us to share their garden and loungers.)

We had an excellent time on this break! The listing matched the property, was perfectly clean, well equiped, extremely peaceful with lots of glorious walks both from the property and very close by. We were a family of 4 including two 14 year olds. They loved it here as much as we did. We would defintely come again.

This is such a beautiful getaway place! The hosts go above and beyond to make the experience in the hut so special for their guests…I could not recommend this place more. The generosity of the welcome hamper that was left upon our arrival was also amazing (my partner says the brownies were the best he’d ever had!!). The hut was clean and private and the attention to detail here doesn’t go unnoticed. It’s also a great place for dogs, they are also well catered for. A big thank you to these hosts, we will definitely be back. <3

Wow! Both Broxwater Shippon & Robbie exceeded our expectations. The air BnB was stunning, clean and had everything we needed. The open plan setting is perfect for a weekend away with family. Robbie was extremely flexible, responsive and friendly- she made us feel right at home and nothing was too much trouble. She provided lots of recommendations too which made our weekend so much easier to plan. The stay was the perfect relaxing rural retreat to recharge! We would 100% recommend to everyone and would love to go back.

We had a fantastic time here - 6 adults, a baby and a dog! The garden was a real bonus! Lovely location and lots of space!

The cabin and site were lovely, clean and it felt very welcoming. When we arrived, there was a lovely note and delicious homemade cookies, which our children really enjoyed. We’d love to go back again. It was a great spot to have as a base and visit some lovely beaches/ places around the North Devon coast.
