Lovely house in a great location. Paul was very prompt and helpful in his communication.

A great place to stay in a very quiet street but just 5 minutes walk into the centre of York. The house was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Very small fridge but it did us for a weekend away.

What a fantastic place. Dave was a fabulous host,everything explained ,suggestions for places to eat offered, nothing too much trouble.The house is immaculate, very comfortable ,everything provided ,a real home from home.We would definitely recommend it to anyone and Dave we may be back beware lol

We loved our stay in this beautiful spacious home. So peaceful at night. Minutes from the bus into town which my daughter loved, and having a garden whilst being so close to town was wonderful. It has everything you need including comfy beds. We had a takeaway from the local Indian a five minute walk away which was delicious. Highly recommend.

Beth was a great host. She communicated very well from the reservation booking, through a few changes in our number of guests, to checking on us during our stay. The home was perfectly located to get to places in Town Centre to visit and to the train station. The house had all we needed. We cooked a few meals in the kitchen for a few family meals together. The dishwasher and the washer/dryer worked well. The beds were warm and comfortable. The bathrooms were designed great for our 7 guests to alternate through. Each bedroom had its own full length mirror and hair dryer, which was very helpful. The neighborhood was very respectful. The nights were completely quiet, allowing us a comfortable night’s sleep and rest to be able to be up and ready for our next day’s activities.

We had a fantastic stay at Whistler House for my sister and her husband’s 70th birthdays. The accommodation was spotless, beautifully furnished and had a great location being on the river and a few minutes walk from the City. The cottage was well equipped and the host went above and beyond to make our stay a pleasant one. Highly recommended. Thank you Anna for a lovely stay. We will be back!

Hywel was an exceptional host, and the property was beautiful. He was very considerate, the furnishings were superb and extremely comfortable and represents great value for money. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay and loved the proximity of restaurants, pubs, and sightseeing. Less than 5 min walk to Rowntree park playground was so helpful for our family traveling with young kids!

Charming old fashioned cottage, right in the heart of York. Very quiet and private. Easy walks to all attractions. The house was clean and all amenities well maintained, loved the bedroom so cosy and pretty. The bed very comfortable. Highly recommended s stay here. We would certainly stay here again 🌟

really enjoyed our stay. didn't exspect such a nice view (you should have a photo of that on the page) location is fantastic just around the back of spar near the train station. maybe 10mins walk though the park high street. sam

We had an amazing weekend stay at Laura’s place. The location is absolutely perfect for getting into York city centre, with the river being a 2 minute walk from the front door. Despite this the surroundings were really peaceful! The house was spotless and met our needs very well. It was beautifully presented and Laura left a very generous food welcome package that went down very well! Our only comment is the bedrooms were really hot so a fan would’ve been handy- however this is definitely because we were there on the hottest day of the year so to be expected! Would definitely recommend Laura’s place to anyone looking for a weekend away in York.

We had the most incredible time here, the property was immaculate and the decor was amazing. It was so homely and the refreshments left for us was such a lovely touch, couldn’t stayed there forever! There was so much to do around we didn’t get through it all so cannot wait to come back and stay again.

A lovely place to stay On a quiet little street , but a short walk from the centre literally ideal !

This is a cosy and well-presented house with two good bedrooms upstairs (one with bunk bed, with with double), a clean, airy bathroom with a good bath and shower, a decent-sized kitchen and dining room and a comfy front room. Check in was a breeze, there was cookies, coffee and milk for us and communication was easy. It's a 15 minute walk to the centre of town, which is both a really easy walk and really quite pretty. The street was fairly quiet. Good place that I recommend.

Tiffanies property tick off all the boxes for me. Honest helpful honest host ready to help Lovely location clean and safe neighbourhood close to lovely shops restaurants supermarkets. Just a lovely clean neighbourhood and the best location. It is a lovely property. If you appreciate clean well maintained properties with fresh clean smell, lovely colours on the wall, nice real furniture, clean bathrooms that smells fresh that is Tiffany’s property. We had a wonderful stay, felt like home but at the same time it was classy and felt like a holiday for us even though we stayed for work . I will definitely rebook Tiffanies house with closed eyes. Thank you Tiffany looking forward staying at your lovely property again. I wish all hosts had clean houses well looked after like yours with a lovely friendly personality. Thank you so much , we had a wonderful stay 🥰

This was the best accommodation experience during our trip to the UK. The landlord was very friendly and, knowing that we had a lot of luggage, allowed us to check in early and check out late. The house was very well designed and really caught the eye. There were small gifts from the landlord in the living room. In short, it was a wonderful accommodation experience.

Great overnight stay on the way to Headingly for a test match. Easy to find, good instructions. Kiran was very responsive. Walked to nearby restaurant. It was a very warm evening which meant we had the windows open. This did account for some road noise for the downstairs bedroom, but all in all a really good experience. Thank you.
