House holiday rentals in Harmby

This was our second time at Phils, first time to celebrate my 70th second time for my husbands 75th. When I asked my family where they wanted to celebrate my husbands 75th birthday it was Phils place. Its perfect for our multi-generational family, amples of space and the pool and hot tub are the icing on the cake. We all had the best time and we made lots of memories. Thank you Phil for the use of your lovely home.

great place for a family getaway, there were 11 of us so the games room and hot tub were prefect. close enough to Barnard castle to go out for dinner, beautiful surroundings, what's not to like

We loved our stay at Darlington!! The host was so responsive, everything went smoothly. 10/10 the hot tub was a great touch for both adults and kids! Would absolutely stay again!!!

Russell and Clare are great hosts who have created comfortable, well-appointed accommodation which is warm and cosy in winter and I imagine light and airy in summer. The beds were lush. The shower is great - powerful and consistent temperature. Eppleby is peaceful with walks from the cottage, a local shop & tea room - very friendly - and pub. It's a great location for exploring Richmondshire and Co. Durham. We had a relaxing short break at The Old Milk House and hope to return.

Myself, 9 others and 1 small dog booked on of Sue's fantastic cottages for a reunion weekend. Sue was very easy to communicate with, gave us the guidebook ahead of time virtually for any queries (we were very interested in the pizza oven and games room) Facilties were excellent, we were lucky that no other cottages on the site (only 3 others) were in use during our stay, so had free roam of the site and facilties. The local recommendations were brilliant. We went to the old black bull down the road for dinner on the first night and then again for roast dinner on Sunday - mega The house itself is just as shown in the photos, more than comfortable to sleep and house 10 of us for the weekend. Special mention to the hottub, (which is private for your house and I believe comes with all houses) and to Paul who was more than helpful coming to our rescue and reviving out pizza night when we experienced some issues with the oven. 10/10 would go again.

Absolutely stunning. We stayed for 2 nights to celebrate my 40th. Me and my family had the best time. We had so much fun in the bar, playing pool and watching movies. As for the pool and hot tub..... wow! It was just absolutely brilliant. we all had the best time. the house itself was stunning, cozy and comfortable. Delanie you were just wonderful . I loved how we were able to make ourselves feel right at home. Living like superstars for a weekend. Thank you ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Wow what a beautiful little cottage ❤️ everything was to such high standard. It was such a beautiful area looking right out onto the river. There was lots of lovely little touches a welcome basket, towels and dressing gowns just to say a few. Emma was very helpful before our trip recommending the pub at the top of the hill for food which was amazing. I would highly recommend.

The cottage was absolutely beautiful and exactly what we needed! the views were absolutely beautiful and the area was peaceful and relaxing. The welcome guide was so indepth and had recommendations for everything! Would definitely come back again!

A lovely place to stay, Amanda was friendly & helpful and left a great welcome hamper including a bottle of Prosecco. Beautiful garden to sit in and lake walks on the door step. The property itself is immaculate and has everything you would ever need. 😊

For a quiet few days off the beaten track this place is ideal. From a dog owner’s perspective the garden was completely secure. Simple little things like the quality of the cutlery and decent sized mugs for your early morning coffee makes such a difference. The nearby pub is a hidden gem, they brew their own beer on site, and it tastes great. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Great place to stay in a lovely area. Very comfortable with everything we needed and lots of thoughtful little extras. John and Tricia were friendly and helpful hosts with lots of useful local recommendations. We loved meeting all the animals too. Would thoroughly recommend.

What a beautiful location and truly special place to say. From beginning to end, Tanya made us feel incredibly welcome. Even to the point of homemade carrot cake outside the from door when we arrived back from a long walk! We loved playing with their gorgeous dogs (who are super well trained and will leave you well alone if you're not a dog-lover). The place was immaculate, and the photos don't actually do it justice. Lots of cute and unique features and high quality finish. Right next to a gorgeous stream. I walked from there over the Pennine Way to Halton, a thoroughly enjoyable 9-mile jaunt. While leaving my partner to the 3 Peaks Challenge. And the super cute Ns characterful pub up the road was on the cherry on a very enjoyable cake. I'll definitely be coming again!

Cute little place right next to the National Trust Hardcastle crags great walks. Lovely kitchen everything you need, nice treats, fresh milk, fresh eggs, chocolates, marmalade, bread, bottle of fizz. Lovely games in the Chest if drawers for the whole family. Well equipped Kitchen with everything you need love the orange vibe going to use a bit of that inspiration in my new kitchen!

A beautiful little retreat, in a perfect location to go and explore the local attractions. White Scar Cave and the waterfall trail are both well worth a visit. Only a short drive to the Lake District too. Carly is an amazing host who goes above and beyond with all the extra little touches, she has thought of everything to make your stay so easy and comfortable. The Lodge is spotlessly clean and smells amazing. we will definitely be returning.

We recently stayed at this Airbnb for 8 months. It's a beautiful 2-bedroom property with a lovely, enclosed garden, situated in a very quiet friendly area. It's within walking distance to the local shops, and the local bus service is at the end of the road. Well-equipped, and very comfortable beds! Nothing is too much trouble for the host Kelly, who's always available should you require anything. Highly recommended 😊

We had a wonderful few days at Winkley Hall Farm. Fantastic property in a wonderful, peaceful location with everything you need for a relaxing, long weekend break. Our communication with our hosts was great from the moment we booked, to arrival and throughout our stay. And the lovely welcome gift was an added surprise and greatly appreciated! We were sad to leave and would definitely recommend this property, and will look to return at some point in the future.

Well, what can we say? We have simply had the most amazing stay for the past 5 nights at Victorias place. We really didn’t want to leave. If you enjoy long walks (from the doorstep), stunning scenery, peace and tranquility, then this is the place for you. Victoria and Ian are superb friendly hosts, and full of useful local information. The bonus to the stay was meeting Freddie💙 Our pooch Alfie loved him and it was a sheer joy watching them play rough and tumble together. The accomodation is first class too, lovely and airy with each window having a fabulous view. We will most certainly be returning. This Airbnb is wonderful and we would definitely stay again. The location is perfect - within close walking distance to the pubs and restaurants of downtown Sedbergh, yet in a quiet, peaceful spot on the edge of town right on a great walking path. It's also a good location in the sense that it's close enough to the Lake District to use as a base for exploring that area, as well as being in the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. The house is clean, well-equipped, and the photos are accurate. It's a very nice place with no real negatives to mention.

We had a wonderful welcome from Julie and Damien. So friendly and went above and beyond to leave us thoughtful welcome packs and provide the most clean and beautiful space we could have wished for.. We highly recommend and will definitely be returning.

We stayed here for my girlfriends birthday with our dog. The house is absolutely stunning and very large - the photos don’t even do it justice! Iain and Louise were very responsive, beds were incredibly comfortable and we very much enjoyed the beautiful village setting. We would love to visit again!

A delightful house which is full of character with thick old walls and beams on the ceilings. Spotlessly clean, nicely furnished, very comfortable beds and sofas. Extras provided such as a rechargeable torch so that you can walk back from the village in the dark. Ian gave helpful local information and was quick to respond to queries. Will definitely go back again.
