Exceptional place! Alone at the end of the world above the fjord... one of the best views of our stay. A cute cabin built by our host. Very well equipped and very beautifully decorated. Special mention to the toilet in a small independent cabin with stunning views of the fjord:) The hosts are welcoming, kind and available! Best place to stay on our trip!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The place is idyllic and perfect for two families who want to relax and enjoy nature. We used both boats and kayaks, and the children were very happy to see crabs - extra nice that the host took the time to show them. The evenings were spent around the fire and in the jacuzzi – a perfect end to fine days. Everything was clean, well organized and incredibly cozy. Highly recommended for all who love nature and tranquility. We will definitely come back – thank you very much!

Fantastic family-friendly cottage in beautiful surroundings. We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful cabin! The location is beautiful, with beautiful nature and quiet surroundings – perfect for a relaxing holiday. The cabin was very clean and tidy on arrival, and it was clear that the host attaches great importance to good standards and maintenance. As a family of two adults and three children, we especially appreciated the large selection of toys for the children. It made the stay extra pleasant and relaxing for all of us. The host was very welcoming and responded quickly to all inquiries, which gave us a safe and good experience from start to finish. We highly recommend this cabin!

Rolf and Lena's cabin is beautiful and nothing is missing. The location is unique! Hosts are very friendly. Lena had left us a coffee, Easter pastries and fresh flowers to welcome us. We had a great week here and even saw aurora lights.

The whole stay was great and Ana was super attentive to make sure we made the most out of the fantastic cabin. Location great with loads to do and yet still in range of Hemsedal ski area! Couldn’t fault the accomodation, living area or outside facilities and Ana was a great host. WE WILL BE BACK!!!

We are a group of friends from Australia we didn’t know what to expect from Atløy but what an amazing trip the property is beautiful & photos don’t do it justice.The owners had though of everything & the property compendium was very detailed.Even though the weather wasn’t the best we had lots of beautiful walks in nature & spent hours looking out at the views.

We had a great stay at Jane's chalet. Everything was in compliance, the "village" is very pleasant and very safe (set back from the road, very few cars) to walk your dog, or let children play. There are also several nearby and accessible hikes. The accommodation is small but ample and very cozy.

Such a beautiful cottage, right on the water. Left and right, nothing but water and nature. We have rarely seen anything so beautiful. Communication with Oystein was straightforward and easy. Since our navigation system misled us, Oystein helped us out of our predicament very quickly with patience. When we arrived, the heating was already on and it was cozy and warm. The bed was aligned with the window, so we had a perfect view of the fjord from there. The kitchen was very well equipped for our holiday needs. We prepared simple dishes every day. The attempt to shower with the cold fjord water worked great, but it is certainly not to everyone's taste. It was a great experience. Oystein has created a little paradise. It is absolutely recommended to visit this beautiful place and stay there for a few days or longer. We will be happy to come back. Sigrid and Achim

We had a lovely stay at the cabin for a couple of days. It felt like home from the very first minute, even fresh flowers were waiting on the table. The host was friendly and responded quickly. The cabin itself is great, with beautiful views and surroundings. We really enjoyed hiking in the area and relaxing by the fireplace in the evenings. We would definitely recommend the cabin!

We had a lovely stay in the cozy little cottage in the most beautiful surroundings. The staff were very sweet and gave us good tips for nice hikes in the area :-)

We enjoyed our stay. We were there 2 nights and did not meet a single person during that time, delicious!! 😅 the sauna was the reason we booked this cabin and that did not disappoint. it was wonderful to use the sauna. It was a bit of a search for the cabin, but once we were there, we enjoyed it a lot. Make sure you think carefully about what you need in advance, because it is quite a walk until you get there. the view is fantastic and fun to spot the sheep on the mountain. also very nice that there is just electricity in the cabin. the toilet system also works great.

We had a great stay with our dogs. Clean, luxe cabin with an amazing view. If you greatly value a quiet, peaceful stay within nature like us, then this is the cabin for you.

Nina’s cottage is beautifully located with a stunning view of the fjords. The house is fantastic and fully equipped – everything you need is there. It’s the perfect base to explore the Hardangerfjord and the surrounding area. Nina is a fantastic host: very helpful and responds very quickly. Highly recommended!

nice cabin. perfect if you enjoy living close to nature, and have no problems with older style of living 😊 also rowing with boat is super nice... we enjoyed our short stay!

The small, remote hut was perfect for switching off and relaxing. The surroundings are beautiful – lots of nature and a fantastic lake nearby. I felt very comfortable and highly recommend the place.

That was a perfect and peaceful week. The place feels very homey and cozy. Has everything that is needed for a long stay away from civilization.

We felt very comfortable from the first moment. The boathouse is perfectly and high-quality furnished, nothing is missing! The hosts are super friendly, were always available to us and provided us with tips and excursion options. Since Fogn is best reached by ferry (free) or by speedboat, you are not necessarily dependent on a car. The small supermarket is within walking distance and swimming is possible directly from the jetty of the boathouse. For an exploration of the island from the water, there is the possibility to use the boat on site. We thank Oddbjorg and Ole very much for this wonderful stay, which we will enjoy for a long time!!!

We had a wonderful stay at Jarand’s cabin! The location is incredible and the cabin had stunning views. We enjoyed going for a hike in the area and going for a cool down in the stream. The cabin had everything we needed, including things to make coffee and easy meals. We were a bit worried about finding it, but Jarand gave helpful directions. If you follow Google maps to the coordinates, you’ll find where you should park easily and then have a short but steep hike up a clearly marked path. It was wonderful to disconnect for a few days and we have already recommended Jarand’s place to a few friends!

Was a really lovely stay. It rained non stop so it was wonderful to just unwind after traveling all week. Was great to eat there, do laundry and repack for Iceland, our next destination. Highly recommended. Two tips, get food and drinks before you head in and note no grocery open on sun in the town 20 min away.

The view is full of beautiful blue water surrounded by rich, lush, beautiful plants, trees and snow top mountains (even in late May)in the background, it is breathtaking! The house is cute and clean. Be prepared for a hike down from the road to bring your bags. The three of us had a wonderful time!
