Our romantic windmill (1874) is just a few miles from Amsterdam in wide green fields and along a meandering river: "Gein". Easy access to the A'dam. by car, train or by bike. You have the entire windmill to yourself. Three floors, 3 bedrooms with double beds: it easily sleeps 6, a kitchen, living, 2 toilets and a bathroom with bath/shower. Bikes available + kayak. Just leave some extra money if you did use them. No need to reserve ahead. Great swimming water and small landing just in front.

From the balcony by the bedroom, you can see the sun rise in the morning above the dune landscape, where deer can often be seen. The house is spacious, has 2.5 floors and has all the comforts. This luxurious family house was restored in 2024. With 3 bedrooms and a bathroom. A large open kitchen and a cozy garden with a tv and a mini-fridge. It is also possible to add an extra baby bed. Just a 5 min walk to the trainstation to Amsterdam, This train will take you to Haarlem city in 10 minutes, and 25 minutes to Amsterdam. Also, if you want to go to the beach, its a 15 min drive to IJmuiden and if you take the train, you can be at Zandvoort in 25 min!

Loft in old fire station of Wijk aan Zee

Come and stay in the old Wilhelminaschool from 1884. In a quiet street is our building that was once built as a school, then served as a fire station and where we now live. This third classroom has been refurbished with a lot of love and patience and has now been transformed into a cozy 70m2 loft. Because the space has an open staircase and fairly open balustrade, the apartment is not suitable for small children. Kids from 7 years old are welcome.
