Skipperhuset

🏡 Skipperhuset is the oldest house on our family farm Birkenes, which is located in Farsund municipality. Skipperhuset was built in the 19th century and has been rehabilitated several times, most recently in the spring of 2021. In collaboration with a local painting company, we work to make the house as authentic as possible, including by wallpapering the living room, kitchen and hallway with skipper's house wallpaper and linseed oil paint to preserve wood, etc. Skipperhuset has a natural place on the farm and is located wall to wall with the brewery, which has a renovated bakery oven.

Great and popular year-round hiking opportunities along the dunes and the beach and good surf/kite opportunities on the nearby beaches (walking distance) all year round. Swimming opportunities in the summer in the pool and on the beach. Located on the ground floor and consists of a spacious hallway, one spacious bathroom, 2 good bedrooms and a combined living room and kitchen. There is a terrace at both the front and back of the apartment.

Great cabin by Haviksanden

Here you can experience the simple life with proximity to nature and the beaches of Lista. Whatever the weather, the ocean, the sky, and the light on recreation. The cabin is located right next to lovely Haviksanden. Lovely view and windshield at the cabin. A short walk along cozy private pathway leads down to the long, white beaches. The seaside is especially known for its good conditions for wave surfing. Large lawn area around the cabin Great hiking areas in the area. Proximity to, among other things, Lista Lyr, Nordberg fort, Farsund city centre.

We rent out our funkish house in Viga, in Spind. The house was built in 2018, and has high standards. On the first floor there is a hallway, laundry room, TV room with sofa bed, bathroom, and 3 bedrooms all furnished with 2 single beds. On the second floor there is a large kitchen, living room, dining table, TV area, bedroom with double bed, and large bathroom attached to this bedroom. Outside, a large terrace with a lot of living space, different seating areas, jacuzzi and fire pit, and nice views!

Cozy old house located on the country side close to scenic water (Hanangervannet), known for its rich bird life and nice bathing. Large garden with scenic view. Simple standard, but cozy furnishings. The house has 4 separate bedrooms, where 3 are located on the second floor. Approx 7 minutes walk to bathing water which is very nice for smaller kids, shallow water and warmer than the sea. Approx 22 minutes walk to the beautiful sandy beaches of Lista, which offers miles and miles of sand.

The Longhouse At Lista - Apartment 1

In The Longhouse at Lista in Farsund the cows and the swallows are you closest neighbours. From the large panoramic windows you will get a unique view of the North Sea and Norway's largest concentration of bird species. Living in this architectural gem is an experience. The traditional Longhouse has found new form and function in an impressive modern architecture which makes this place a unique retreat for birdwatchers, surfers, kiters and nature loving families, and groups.

Right by the great beaches at Lista where you can go for nice walks or surf in the waves. The apartment has a heated pool in June, July and August. Location right by the pool and with great views of the beach and sea. There are 2 large bedrooms as well as a loft with many sleeping places. Fully equipped kitchen and bathroom as well as children's toys and books. Trampoline and playground right outside. About 7 km to Farsund city center.

Cozy apartment with panoramic views of the Selvaags Park. 100 meters walking distance to Brooklyn Square where you can enjoy a good meal at Larsen Bakery or at Holy Cow. 1 bedroom. Sofa bed in the living room can be turned into a double bed A total of 4 sleeping places. Bed linens/towels are not provided but can be rented for 100kr per guest. Then the bed is ready before arrival and it comes with one large and one smaller towel.

This is our own family cabin that we use as often as we can, but which we are happy to share with others when we are not there ourselves. The cabin is spacious with its 150 m², has four bedrooms and space for up to 11 people – perfect for two families who want to vacation together. We hope you are as happy as we do!
