Bernadette's place is a fantastic getaway - very peaceful. The place is exactly as described. I thoroughly enjoyed the use of Bernadett 's kayak and paddle board (as well as walking ans running in her neighborhood and visiting Bethel Beach). I'd love to come back another time!

Definitely will be going back! Liked it so much I didn’t want to go home lol. Probably rent again in June. Only thing I recommend them to do is to update the pier it is useable. Just use extreme caution! Otherwise absolutely outstanding place!

My adult son said this was the best airbnb pick I'd made over the years! We rested AND had fun switching between pickleball, basketball, putting and kayaking. Kitchen was the perfect size and had all the basics for cooking a full meal. Beds were comfortable, roomy and every room had great views of the water and property. We loved everything about our stay

Lovely place in lovely Mathews County, VA. It worked out well for me as I rented it longer term (for a few weeks) for a caretaker that accompanied me and my husband to my summer home in Mathews County. She loved it, liked that it was closer to town for her, and thought it was private, peaceful and as described. The hostess was quite responsive, although there were no issues, so we didn't have to pester her.
