Holidays by the lake Unden

In the middle of West Götalands unspoilt nature with its lakes and forests, near the big lake Vättern, about 5 kilometers from the village of Undenäs and far away from any through traffic, the small country village of Igelstad is located, directly on the lake Unden. The village is a small collection of scattered houses and farms, of which some are permanently inhabited, while others are used as summer cottages. Here, in a large clearing in the forest, the small farm "Nolgården" is situated. The house is a separate, well-equipped classic wooden log house, built in spruce. It was thourougly renovated in 2008. There is a private bathroom, kitchen and private terrace, Internet connection (WLAN) and Amazon Fire TV (Magenta TV). A cozy fireplace and electric heating provide comfortable warmth. Directly from the house you can make nice walks in the unspoilt nature, pick berries and mushrooms, or walk to lake Unden, one of the clearest and most pristine lakes in Sweden. From the house to the west side of the peninsula, there is only 800 meters. Here you can have a swim or enjoy the sunset over Unden. The eastern shore can be reached in quarter of an hour via a forest path. By the shore a canoe lies ready for extensive reconnaissance trips to the beautiful deserted islands and quiet bays. But the area has much more to offer: the romantic Tiveden National Park, Lake Viken, Forsvik and the Göta canal with its locks, and the huge lake Vättern are just a few examples of interesting destinations.

With proximity to Vänern, there is the opportunity to enjoy the surroundings with the whole family in this cottage with associated guest cottage for a total of 8 people! Bike path connects this idyll with nice beaches just 5 minutes away, bikes are of course available to borrow for the whole family! Sjötorp/Göta Kanal can be reached by bike in just over 20 minutes (car 8 minutes). Skara Sommarland, Tiveden National Park, golf course, etc. are located in the nearby area! The cottage is also a perfect stop on road 26, on the way to the Swedish mountains!

Enjoy the tranquility of the countryside in this classic red cottage. The cottage is located on our property where there is another residential building. Here you live perfectly if you want to visit the cranes at Lake Hornborga, historic Varnhem or thriving Vallebygden. Lilla Lilleskog is also a great stay when you want to visit Skara Sommarland 7 km away. Hiking trails and swimming lakes are within easy distance. Welcome to a cozy newly built guest house. It is located on a plot with a nice view of fields and proximity to the forest. There is access to a large garden with outdoor furniture, barbecue Trampoline, playhouse and barbecue area in the forest if you want. There is a very nice bathroom with shower and toilet. There is a kitchenette with cooking facilities, fridge with freezer compartment, stove and dining area for 4-5 people. The small bedroom has a wide single bed and a loft bed with ladder. Here, the proximity to the city's offerings is combined with a peaceful villa idyll. The charming 50s-style villa is located in a quiet area just outside the centre. Here you can live comfortably with plenty of space for families, friends and business travelers who want practical accommodation close to the city. The plot is lush and green, with a balcony in a sunny southern location. For children, there are grassy areas to play on. You live close to both the waters of Lake Vänern (450 m) and the travel centre (1.6 km).

Welcome to Snickargården in scenic Stora Mosshult, Tiveden! Here you rent a charming newly renovated house built in 1886 with room for up to 8 guests. In the house, there are all amenities from our time but with saved details from before. Hiking trails and swimming lake are within walking distance. Tiveden's sights are close to the distance and can be reached by bicycle or car. Bed linens, towels and final cleaning are included. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate pets, as many of our guests are fur allergic.

About 1 km into Töreboda for shopping and restaurant visits. Enjoy beautiful scenery and recharge your batteries in this stunning setting. The cottage consists of a small kitchen, bathroom, living room with sofa bed, upstairs there are bedrooms with double beds and living room. Patio with barbecue and parking available. Wifi is available to use.

Cabin on a farm near Göta Kanal

Cottage next to our residence on the farm with cow pastures around the corner for rent. 600 meters from Göta Kanal and Hajstorp locks. You live in an old grain magazine that has just been converted into a comfortable small home for four people. Another person can fit if two share a 120 cm bed or if you make a bed on the sofa. Horses and cows are nearby, so there are also flies. Sometimes it sounds from tractors and it happens that it smells of manure during spring and autumn use😃.

This cozy cottage is located in Undenäs, on the edge of a little holiday park. From the house you have a beautiful view of the area and you can walk into the forest for a lovely walk. Do not forget to walk along the viewpoint and enjoy the surroundings. The cottage is close to the National Nature Park Tiveden, where you can enjoy beautiful walks. Or visit in Karlsborg the fortress, minigolf, the Göta Canal or Forsvik Bruk where you can see 600 years of Swedish industrial history.

Uggletorps guest house by the forest

The cottage is 4 km outside Sjötorp and 10 km outside Lyrestad. There is a possibility to get there by bicycle. Göta Canal runs through both communities where there are also cafés, grocery stores, restaurants, swimming areas and museums In the pictures, you can also see the nice Sjötorp, which is 10 minutes away by bike. A perfect cabin for hunters, outdoor enthusiasts or for those who are on the road. There are also bicycles for rent.

Newly built cottage for two people.

Unwind in this unique and tranquil space. The cottage is located on the edge of the forest. Located between two lakes, Lake Vänern and Skagern. Close to golf course. 40 minutes from Tivedens National Park. 15 minutes to Sjötorp with Göta Canal. 10 minutes to grocery store. Fully equipped kitchen with fridge and freezer in a building next door. There's also a shower and toilet shared with another person.

Skagern Lake House

A lake house above average, the house was built in 2020. The house is located in a small neighbourhood area, there is also a newly built loft in a building next to the lake house which will be available to rent as well. The loft has space for 2 people, with access to a double bed, without toilet and water. This will accessible in the original lake house. We do not accept animals in the house.
