“A beautiful, comfortable and special cosy cottage, located in one of the most beautiful places in Cornwall. The views were amazing, the location just perfect for enjoying Marazion, St Michael’s mount and other jewels that Cornwall have to offer. Information regarding the cottage and our stay was perfect and the local knowledge and information provided by Peter and Sally ensured our stay was memorable. The bed was so comfortable, the cottage extremely clean, homely and a beautiful eclectic mix of quaint furnishings. Would definitely recommend a stay here and whilst there a visit to the Fire Engine pub and the Godolphin Arms, both very welcoming of dogs too. The cottage is perfectly equipped for eating in and the view is so soul satisfying... thank you Peter and Sally, one of the most special weekends of our lives”
Our Lodge is very private and peaceful, nestled next to woods and orchard with wonderful views over Mounts Bay but only 5 minutes from Penzance by car with its many restaurants and night life and is perfectly placed to explore the spectacular beaches and coastal paths of Lands End and St Ives. With private parking for 3 cars, it is perfect for families, couples and groups of friends. We are always on hand to give you any help or information you may need. Your own transport is recommended.
“Helnoweth Lodge is perfect if you want a peaceful holiday tucked away in the countryside but near enough to all of the local ameneties too. The Lodge is spotlessly clean with all of the things provided to make the stay so much easier. Beautiful view over the bay from the front balcony and lovely peaceful vibe on the back balcony where you can listen to the birds and brook running by which is down in the little valley below. All of this is surrounded by Mandys garden which is stunning - as well as a little orchard out the back. Cant wait to return ! We had a fantastic holiday there Phil Webber”
Set in the heart of Mousehole, The Lookout is a cosy space that offers everything you need for a short self-catering stay. The decor is modern and airy. The bed is raised and accessed by steps to give guests a sea view. The suite includes: Smart TV; DAB radio; wardrobe and storage; bar stools; small mini fridge; toaster; crockery; kettle with tea/coffee (but no cooking facilities); large freestanding bath; separate shower; private entrance and courtyard.
“The Lookout really is a tucked away little gem in mousehole - that being said, it's also very accessible from the main harbour. Louise's instructions that were received upon booking were helpful and detailed enough meaning we found our location easily and quickly - we were fortunate each day to park in the local car park, costing just £3 per day - I felt our car was very safe here and had no concerns leaving it. Upon arrival, we checked in with minimal fuss - a word to the wise - it is located at the top of a 'hill' not huge - but tricky with luggage! That being said, the little struggle was absolutely worth it once we had got settled. The Lookout is a real, modern, cosy space where you can lie in bed and see the sea - just beautiful! The seagulls in the morning are the perfect alarm. Louise had left some information regarding COVID-19, detailing the steps she had put in place to ensure the space was clean and comfortable for us - this was really appreciated and led me to enjoy my stay even more. Tea, coffee, sugar and milk were provided, along with a packet of duo biscuits, kettle and toaster - home comforts which again, were appreciated. The bathroom was my absolute favourite - the free standing bath made for a great Instagram picture! We ventured out each morning for breakfast, and whilst we did find somewhere each morning, it was harder than I would usually expect with things still closed from recent events! We ate out most evenings, but ordered in once - this was made possible with there also being plates, glasses and cutlery readily available for us to use. When ordering, I specifically noted to the delivery driver where we were, he chose not to read this and deliver to the main house - thankfully Johnathon played hero and brought it across to us. Thank you so much for your warm welcome, and 'nothing it too much trouble' attitude - you have a beautiful space that anyone would be lucky to spend time in. Also - thank you for being very responsive with messages and informing me of your lovely animals!”
