Cottage holiday rentals in Guiting Power

Riverside Cottage was perfect for a restful week away before my operation. The scenery was stunning and the location so peaceful. The dogs were happy as they could could come and go as they pleased as the garden was so secure. Everything you need for a break away was supplied and the host was a message away if you had any queries. The hottub was an added bonus and was made the most of throughout the week!! A most enjoyable break, we will definitely be back

A fantastic place to stay. There was absolutely everything you could possibly need. The beds were very comfy and the showers excellent. Simon was a great host - very helpful. The Hub next door was very handy - we enjoyed a cold pint once we’d arrived and even took home a cheesecake for later. The hot-tub was also a nice thing to have and was very private. I definitely recommend Simon’s place and would come here again.

This place is so lovely! Host Meng was so kind, even putting some beautiful flowers in the cottage for my birthday ❤️ the view is spectacular, it's one of the most peaceful places I've been. Hot tub is great fun, the kitchen has got everything you need including washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets. The bed was comfy, plug sockets everywhere you'd want them and usb sockets. It was great to see how dog friendly the place is with throws for the couch, fenced garden and fixed stairs gates. I highly advise popping into Jolter Press Cider bar/shop and getting some food from the local Chinese takeaway. Also a walk to St Anthony's Well, there's some step incline/declines on the walk there but it's beautiful and you have to take a dip! We also went to the Three Choirs Vineyard that was beautiful and good fun too. I would definitely come back and I think it would be equally beautiful in any season, our summer trip was fantastic but I'd love to see it in autumn or winter too.

Jamie & Dan are very fortunate to have this beautiful property. It is the ideal country location for escaping away and distancing yourself from our increasingly busy lives. The gardens around the property are stunning, the views are incredible and the local area is amazing to explore on foot, bike or by car. We had an amazing stay and would happily return, and have already started to recommend to friends & family

What a wonderful time we had on our honeymoon. Sarah was an incredible host and we had such a warm welcome. Once checked in Sarah was available via text but left us to enjoy our time. The house was really clean and beautifully decorated, it has everything we needed and we were able to cook in the lovely kitchen. There was lots to do around the area including national trusts and plenty of dog walks. The garden and hot tub were bliss and we really felt as though we were on a luxury break. The bedrooms and bathrooms were roomy and very comfortable, and the brightness in the front room and kitchen was so beautiful. We would absolutely return and loved meeting Sarah, would highly recommend this air b&b. It was perfect in every way!

Thank you for an amazing few days we just wish it had been longer. You have a lovely home from home.

Susy was the loveliest host and was incredibly responsive and warm. Her house is perfectly situated in Stow, just a 3 minute walk from fantastic cafes, pubs, and shops, and yet very quiet and peaceful. The house was very organised and everything looks new. If you’re picky about your bed pillows perhaps bring your own. Our stay was great and we’d highly recommend Susy’s house.

The cottage was beautiful, we had a wonderful stay to celebrate a 70th birthday! Cosy, clean and quiet, with a beautiful garden and lots of thoughtful touches. Also handy to have a travel cot, stair gate and kids cutlery for our toddler. Great location in a beautiful village, and easy to drive to the lovely surrounding towns. Victoria was a fantastic host, great communication and everything was very straightforward. We hope to return and would highly recommend!

Carol was a great host, providing lots of useful info prior to our visit, and when our kettle broke she delivered a new one within 1/2 an hour! Lovely area and would definitely stay again.

Valerie’s cottage is very peaceful and is the perfect place to stay while visiting the Cotswolds. The Old House Barn is very clean and had all the amenities you will need. Valerie provided us great recommendations for places to visit and some great restaurants. She is also quick to respond to any messages. I definitely give her and The Old House Barn 5 stars! We enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again in the future!

We had such a great stay at Rory's cottage. It was the perfect base for us to visit Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the-Water and Bidbury, but without the crowds on your doorstep. The village is very quaint, with a great pub and a cute cafe. We would highly recommend staying here!

If Amber Cottage is available for your dates do not hesitate and book quickly you will not regret it. Nicala and Steve are exceptional hosts and their adorable cottage is just perfect, from location to the cottage itself everything is 5 star. The walk into the centre of Stow on the Wold is less than 5 minutes if you don’t get distracted. The cottage is very easy to find with the hosts very clear instructions and photos. The cottage itself is spotlessly clean and so comfortable not to mention quiet and private. Perfect base to discover the beautiful Cotswolds and these Australians really hope to come back one day. The host was very kind and friendly, always attentive to our needs. The room was very spacious and had everything we needed. The garden is located a little away from the house. It was a bit disappointing that the wardrobe in the bedroom had a musty smell, and the bedding was slightly odorous as well, but for a short stay, it shouldn’t be a major issue. I think it’s a great place for anyone looking to relax in a quiet environment.

The 1 bedroom apartment is attached to Painswick House and gardens. A gorgeous peaceful setting. Spotlessly clean and very appreciated welcome supplies including milk and homemade biscuits and marmalade. Very comfortable bed and bathroom. Loved staying here and would recommend to others looking in this area of the Cotswolds. Gloucester cathedral is magnificent.

Beautiful little three level cottage home right in the heart of Bourton on the Water. Full amenities, comfortable beds, Smart TV , dishwasher etc. Low ceilings on the ground floor as expected in a 17th century cottage so not an issue. Highly recommend Captains Cabin for any exploration of the Cotswolds

Had a fantastic few nights at Nicky’s cottage in the Cotswolds. It was a great base for exploring the area. Bed was really comfortable and the bread and wine that was left was very thoughtful. Would definitely recommend this lovely home.

The cottage was lovely and in a great location. Juliet was really helpful responding to messages quickly and provided top tips on where to eat, a great host. The pub opposite is an added bonus with a fantastic food menu.

A fabulous place for two in the Cotswolds! Amazing view, superb gardens, clean and comfy house… plus lots of lovely places to walk and cycle with friendly pubs in the area. We had a very lovely, relaxing and adventurous time! The hosts were very friendly and made us welcome!

We had a lovely stay at Pamela’s place in the Cotswolds! The house was perfect for our family of four – cozy, well-maintained, and in a beautiful setting. Pamela was an incredibly helpful and sweet host, always ready with tips and suggestions to make our trip smoother. The only small suggestion would be that breakfast could have been a little more elaborate, but Pamela’s warmth and hospitality more than made up for it. We truly enjoyed our time and would absolutely recommend her place for a peaceful family getaway!

The cottage is lovely! We were there as a family of 5 for a friend’s wedding, nearby. The few days prior to the wedding were spent walking some amazing trails and exploring beautiful Cotswolds towns. The house is in a perfect location to do these things. So charming, clean and well-stocked, everything was absolutely perfect!
