Texas Wine Country Hilltop Glamping an Adventure a

ChloeRating, 5 stars54 months ago
An amazing piece of heaven. Peaceful, great views, stunning tents, private, great for social distancing with friends or family. Very well appointed and thought out. Definitely our favorite glamping site yet! And so many wineries, distilleries, brewers and cider houses to enjoy nearby. Take the drive through Pedernales State Park if you're coming from Austin to get into the mood. Thanks Jan and Cianna.

Yurt #2 with A/C + Fire Pit, NEW Discounted Rates

ColinRating, 5 stars36 months ago
We had a blast at Green Acres! We happened to be the only people there and had it all to ourselves! This was our first time glamping and even in with temperatures in the mid 90s - the shade and the yurt were still cool enough to enjoy, and the yurt got down right nice and cold at night! We wondered into town for some breakfast, and again later for some BBQ but couldn't help but just fully relax out at the camp site. We cant imagine a better escape/unplug and recharge. We were immersed in nature, and even if it were a busy weekend, the way the sites are set up feel individual and private/secluded. Everything was clean and set up/ready to go. We cant wait to return for our next get away.

Stargazer Tent at Wahwahtaysee Resort! *glamping*

AmeliaRating, 5 stars8 months ago
This was a very fun overnight trip! The golf cart was perfect and really made the trip. We drove down quite a ways and had a nice river beach to ourselves. The pool is beautiful as well and has a full bar to purchase drinks. The raccoon Bubba will knock over your trash at night so be aware of that. Fridge is mini size and the grill was nice but bring your own grill tools. They also have Yetis tumbelres you can use with their cute logo on it. Bed was fluffy and comfortable. I opted for an outdoor shower under the stars and it was perfect! The indoor shower and tub are resort quality as well. The porch is gated all the way around but would be short enough for a large dog to jump over. My corgi mixes couldn't escape though so it was perfect. If you have a tiny dog they may be able to squeeze through the gaps. Make sure to drive around and check out all the amenities like the volleyball court, conrnhole, swings, and bocce ball court.

Pool + Firepit + River + Lake + Hot Tub + Heat/AC

NastasiaRating, 5 stars5 months ago
we absolutely loved it, my husband and I and our 2 dogs. The interior design is beautiful and incredibly efficient. provided for every little thing we could need. very cozy and comfortable, the best glamping experience you could want. We came during the week and had the whole property to ourselves. The town is 12 minutes away so groceries and restaurants are easily accessible. In the morning we took a very nice walk all the way up to the top of the hill, the views are great! Then we used the hot tub, very clean, very private in our own little fenced yard, the fireplace and hammock were all perfect. Zero compromise on creature comforts, plenty of lights and outlets in the tent, and I was having bad cramps so I took 2 baths in the huge tub and never ran out of hot water. the water pressure was great. it got pretty chilly outside at night and the mini split was more than sufficient to keep it perfectly comfortable inside.

Cloud Dome W/ Private Hot Tub and Outdoor Shower!

LandonRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Beautiful little bungalow. First time in a home like this. The space was really well organized and comfortable for a couple. The deck and hot tub were a great addition to sit out in the morning and night. This stay felt private and somewhat secluded from the main road area.

Son's Guadalupe Glamping Tent #A and Cabana #2

JessicaRating, 5 stars36 months ago
Very cute tent! It was tall enough for our 6’ 4” friend to stand on with plenty of head room. Hand lanterns, fan, and an air cooler are provided in the tent as well as sleeping cots with mattresses. Right on the River for a relaxing time.

Hill Country Gypsy Outpost Glamping Tent

MehrshadRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The place was alright. Perfect for a Hippie get away. the bed was comfy, the bathroom was ok! keep in mind that it is a tent, so any noise outside can be heard, in my case lot of wind. the shower is right next to unit, but it's only cold water, so works during the heat only. be mindful of nature, there are insects and cats around. just an FYI so that you don't freak out like I did, LOL. will I stay again? probably not... but location was very accessible. Host, didn't answer the only question I had before getting there. which was is the tent water proof or not. Which it was, but I only found out when the rain didn't come inside while I was sleeping. That wasn't a good feeling, but I guess I got lucky!

Tree Line Vista at Estes Preserve

DeborahRating, 5 stars6 months ago
The Treeline Vista is perfect for a restful personal renewal or a fun family weekend. The trails are varied in woods, prairies and sun and shade. Deer are everywhere. It's fun to hear the coyotes yipping after dusk and the barn owls hooting. Don't worry, the wildlife won't come near you. It's perfectly safe. The private bath house is wonderful for a hot shower after a day on the trails. They have a high-end composting toliet which is civilized enough for people afraid of "going in the woods" and is environmentally responsible. The fire pit is far enough away from the tent to keep it from smelling like smoke. Picnic table, lounge chairs, patio table and chairs + rocker outside. Two comfortable chairs, cozy bed and a double twin trundle bed, plus a chest of drawers full of goodies for the kids to explore nature. Also, large sink, plates, bowls and every kind of utensils are available for use. I just can't think of a better down to earth glamping experience than Estes Preserve.

Peaceful Spring Getaway Glamping in Hill Country

EdgarRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Great place to stay, the views from the tent are amazing we had the perfect camping weather. The bed and furniture is cozy and clean. The tents could be a little further apart. We went for a private getaway but the tents next to us had kids and dogs that created a lot more noise then expected. Other than the lack of being secluded it was great.

The Barons WAGON @ Barons CreekSide

CassaundraRating, 5 stars13 months ago
Everything was perfect. Super responsive and helpful, kind, & professional. They even brought me a kettle for tea so my friend could concurrently use the coffee maker! We were beyond floored by our experience and so very grateful to have found their place to stay for our visit. Our only mild disappointment was that the wineries in the area all closed at 5 or 5:30p (completely out of the hosts control, of course), but they had some great recommendations and their clubhouse more than made up for the wineries' loss 😋 Highly recommend! You won't be disappointed!
