Our classic black wooden holiday home is located in the front row by the sea. And it was precisely the sunset from the kitchen and from the terrace that made us fall completely in love. We love those long, bright summer evenings when you're simply bathed in the golden light from the sea. The house is bright and modernly furnished, with character and soul. The large open-plan kitchen is the natural, social gathering point, offering panoramic sea views and direct access to the terrace. Large, secluded nature estate with coastal protection.

Welcome to Bulldog House – a cosy retreat with its own sauna and Nordic charm. Here you will find peace, privacy and an atmosphere for total relaxation. Linen package is included in the rent (bed linen, towels, tea towels and dishcloths). Enjoy wellness with sauna, cold water bath and outdoor shower, wood stove and cozy corners outside and inside. The garden offers a fireplace, a sunny terrace and a large trampoline. From April to October, tandem bikes can be rented. Fast internet and scenic surroundings complete the holiday.

Only a 5-8 minute walk will take you to a lovely, sandy and rocky beach. Nearby is Heather Hills, a unique natural area with heather-covered hills, perfect for hiking. There is a grocery store only 2 minutes from the house, where you can find everything you need for your vacation.

The sofa can also be converted into 2 beds, if the need is 6 overnight. From two beautiful wooden terraces and the large plot, the sun can be enjoyed from early morning to late evening.

Relax in this unique and quiet home on the Granholm farm, which is located in a lovely large garden, and with lakes, forests and bogs just outside. We live close to Helsinge, but still completely on our own. We have sheep and chickens. The apartment is built in the farm's former carriage gate and loft, and contains a large room with kitchen, dining area, sofa area and sleeping area. Toilet and bath next to the sleeping area. The bed can be divided into 2 single beds, and an extra bed can be made on the sofa.

The cottage is in walking distance to everything in Gilleleje. Enjoy the quiet evenings and watch the big ships sail by.

The Black Cottage + Orangery

Available from April 1. - October 31. The Black Cottage and orangery are parts of the historical place called Skippergaarden (Skipper´s Residence) Fabersvej 2c, in the old Gilleleje. Skipper´s Residence is built in 1797 with last remodeling done in 2003/4. The Black Cottage from 1892, when summer residents became popular. Last remodeling 2019/21. The orangery is from 2009. We have wi-fi and parking available.
