Cabin holiday rentals in Gribskov Municipality

After 25 years of renting summerhouses in Denmark, this is the first time we've been this close to perfection. We were 4 adults and 2 children and everything was well thought out for everyone. Very good taste decor and everything was of quality… from the dishwasher, dishes, paintings and objects and we particularly appreciated the Nespresso coffee machine, even the sheets and towels were of quality. Beautiful garden, well-maintained flowers, great bbq, and small deer wandering around the garden, superb garden furniture, terrace and the serenity and brightness of the place. The proximity to the beach and the very nice pontoon, a little too many pebbles and seaweed. We'd love to come back to this house. The washing machine broke down at the beginning of our stay and our host Claus immediately replaced it. We had a great vacation.

We had a really good stay at the cottage. Everything was as described in the listing and the host provided clear instructions and good communication throughout. The area is really cozy and the location is good - 10 min walk from the water, quiet area, good green areas nearby. Great recommendation from here :)

Steen's place is the perfect spot to explore the North Zealand area. It's close to town and the train station but also on a very peaceful and quiet block. The views from the yard are beautiful and the hot tub and sauna were so much fun. Also, my boys (9 and 3) just loved the trampoline. The weather wasn't super great during our stay but it didn't matter because we still had a fun time exploring the area and relaxing at Steen's home. I've stayed at many Airbnbs and Steen is one of the most responsive and friendly hosts we've had. Thank you, Steen!

Very nice cottage where we enjoyed staying. We travelled with our 1.5y old daughter and found the place very child-friendly. Wonderful garden with lots of blackberries, raspberries and apples.

A really beautiful and cozy summerhouse in idyllic and natural surroundings 🌿 We were away 2 couples with two dogs and a baby, and we felt at home right away. It was like coming home in your own summerhouse. The house has everything you need and the rooms are very nice. The living room and kitchen were spacious for our needs, even the days it rained. We enjoyed many walks in tisvilde fences - and a lunch at the rhbarbergaarden nearby. We also came down to the beach. Anne is really a welcoming and sweet hostess who is ready to answer all questions or help with tips. She also responds quickly. We have been so happy with the stay and have returned home completely relaxed! We borrowed the house over Easter and we would definitely rent the cottage again another time 🥰 Thank you so much for your hospitality and for borrowing the finest forest cabin 🍃✨

We had a great stay at Steen's house. The home is large and family friendly, with plenty of space for our 4-person family, a large well-equipped kitchen, washer and dryer to do laundry during our stay, a spacious backyard with several play structures and a trampoline, and a great assortment of toys and books for our two kids (ages 4 and 7). The floor heating and well-insulated walls made it very comfortable to stay in during the winter, there's also a heat pump but we didn't need to turn those on at all. We didn't use the annex but it seemed well-built and comfortable as well for those who'd need it. Location is good, good proximity to the beach, Gilleleje, and grocery stores. Overall we'd highly recommend Steen's house for families!

We travelled with two small kids in august 2024. The place is beautiful inside and outside. Outside, it feels like being in a Forrest, deer is walking around and the view is a sea of trees. It’s a short walk to a good fish monger. It’s a drive or bikes ride into town. Inside, the place have everything which is needed. The kitchen is especially well equipped. Highly Recommend to anyone.

We were so unfortunate that another landlord canceled our reservation on short notice. We requested Anne for rent of her summerhouse and got a quick response and the holiday was saved anyway :) We had a lovely holiday at Anne's cottage, which is close to the forest and within good driving distance from Copenhagen. Definitely recommend.

We had a lovely 9 night stay at the lodge. It was warm, cosy and had everything we needed for the week. We especially loved all the toys and books, my son loved playing in the bedroom & the garden. Peter was great at communicating and made sure we were ok. At great week away in a beautiful place!

Nice location on the edge of the Kattegat literally. We were there over the New Year in a good winter storm. Luckily, there was a good wood-burning stove that could easily keep the house warm.

We had a lovely stay ! Perfect place with children. Everything was clean and tiny, really clear instructions received well in advance. How kind they even left a bottle of wine for our arrival. Fully recommand !

Beautiful, personally decorated and charming house in a nice neighborhood - direct access to the forest, which was just perfect with dog! We had a great time.

Great stay. Host was lovely and welcoming. Great apartment with really nice outdoor area. Super for walking, cycling and swimming.Felt right at home. Nice beaches and villages all along the coast. Highly Recommended for a stay at the Danish Riviera.

We had a lovely weekend at Stine's. The apartment was clean and tidy. She also let us check out a bit later which was very nice. Definitely recommend!

The second trip to Kasper's beach cottage was just as peaceful and beautiful as the first. Kasper is a very generous host who, once again, made the stay as easy and comfortable as possible. Hope to come back every summer.

Signe's sommerhus has all your basic needs wrapped up in a cute eclectic (and clean) package, hidden away in a huge beautiful garden. A 10 minute bike ride to the city of Gilleleje and about a 5 minute bike ride to the beach, it's conveniently located and if you're lucky Signe will pass by herself and let you in on some great local tips! My husband and I were visiting in the area hunting for our own sommerhus, so if we don't find one soon, we will definitely be back! And don't forget to try the outdoor shower!

This is the second time we stayed at Thomas and Nanna’s charming summer house. A beautiful place in a great location.
