Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Greers Ferry Lake

The place was very well maintained and a very private space. The neighborhood was safe and clean. The backyard setup and the river was breathtaking. Laurell was very responsive and easy to communicate. People who looking for a getaway to a peaceful surrounding with lush green and river next to you should really try this home. The access to river was safe and well kept with a floating deck. If you are into fishing, please bring your own setup and get ready for some amazing trouts when the water is cold. I would highly recommend this place.

We loved our stay in this beautiful historic house, traveling with two young adults. The history, the photographs of past times, the antique artifacts and the retro bedrooms gives the air of of walking through the past. The minute we walked into the kitchen there were oohs and awes, look at this look at that. Just a good feeling all around. The house is spacious and comfortable. The beds are so comfy! And the outside is green and lush, pleasant to walk around outside, and quiet. Emily is kind and a wonderful communicator. This house is now top of my list to visit again!

Quiet place at end of a road. Great view of the lake. Perfect for a quick get away where peace & quiet are desired. We would definitely stay again!

Me & my son came for a fishing tournament on Greers Ferry Lake. The place was great for the time we spent there, was boater friendly. The only thing is the house has a bit of cigarette smell, if you are not a smoker you will notice it but it was not a deal breaker for us. Thanks again Chris

Our stay at Rocky Top Falls was beyond what we expected! Miguel and Rachel are phenomenal hosts! They are friendly and communicate awesome! The space and location are better than the pictures. We enjoyed the views so much we asked Miguel if he could connect us with a photographer. He did and we had family photos taken! We had three families there and more than enough room! They had everything we needed for kids aging from 3 months to 10 yo. They have thought of everything! This stay would be a great choice for groups of all sizes looking for beautiful views and wonderful accommodations! Tyler & Lindsay

The house is super clean, it’s very cozy, and peaceful. The large backyard is great for kids and family time. Location is great, it’s close to Lacy’s where we keep our boat. The hosts are also great to deal with. We liked it so much we are staying there again two more times this summer.

This was our second stay here and it didn’t disappoint. We loved being able to enjoy the river and a key selling point for us was how kid friendly the dock is. We’ve stayed on the little red a lot and this is the only place we’ve seen with a dock where our 3 year old can roam free and we can relax at the same time.

Colleen was amazing and very helpful and friendly! She accommodated a late booking with an early check in and a late check out. She checked in throughout the stay and made sure the place felt like home!

Adorable place to stay close to resturants and the lake. Beds are comfy and we slept great. We will for sure book here again for a lake weekend.

Randall’s Place accommodated all of my needs and was a relaxing environment to take my final exams.

Exactly as described, close to everything in the small town. Great eating options within a 5 min drive, yet sitting on the deck, you would have thought you were in the woods. Angela was responsive with any questions we had. She had an extensive folder of local attraction. This was our 2nd year to stay here and we will always return if it is avaliable! Thanks again for a great stay ! PS The best breakfast around is at the bowling alley and a fantastic value as well !

Doug's place is awesome! It sits on a beautiful farm, with horses, donkeys, chickens, ducks and other livestock. The apartment and all of its furnishings feels brand new and was spotlessly clean. Doug and Mary Lynn went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we need. The refrigerator was stocked with farm-fresh eggs from their chickens, he included a pound of delicious sausage and bacon, there were treats and lots of little things that made it feel like a home rather than a rental. One thing to be prepared for if you stay, is the farm is quite a ways from any highways. The roads are paved and in great condition to get to it, but it is a bit of a drive to get back there. If you are looking for a place off the beaten path and in beautiful surroundings with wonderful hosts, then I cannot recommend staying with Doug and Mary Lynn enough!

My children and I were in the Fairfield Bay area to visit family who live nearby and this condo was the perfect resting spot for us. The proximity of this condo to the pool was a nice bonus as we could easily walk to the pool instead of drive. My kids (teenagers) and I were also happy to have a great wifi connection so we could get a little work done and watch some movies together in the evenings. Blue Heron was a comfortable and safe place to stay in between family visits and I will definitely book this condo again next time we are in the area.

I rented this for my niece and family for their stay during our family reunion. They loved it! I don't know what they expected but they seemed so extraordinarily pleased. The condo was terrific with amenities in easy walking distance for all of them. They felt they were being treated to something extra special. It made me look good! I'd rent again for sure.

Dee was a great host. She was very responsive and helpful anytime we had a question or request. We enjoyed her condo a lot. Had every amenity that we needed, plus some. The bed, pillows and chairs were super comfortable. Thank you, Dee!

A touch pricier than others in the area but absolutely worth it. We have family in the area and come at least a couple of times a year, and this is the best condo we’ve rented if you only need two bedrooms. SO well stocked, which was a huge help to us - we took full advantage. Also exceptionally clean, with quality furniture a step above the usual, and some games to boot. Can’t beat the location for getting around FFB and these hosts care about your experience. I felt like we were in a hotel. Our new go-to rental when we visit.

This little gem, nestled in a quiet community, is a perfect place to call temporary home!! From the moment we walked in, it just felt cozy! Hayden was very responsive and on top of any issue that came up. Definitely would love to stay here again in the future!!

We had a really nice stay at this property. It is very clean, well furnished, comfortable, and conveniently located. We had a bit of trouble with the AC at first and the host was very attentive and proactive about getting it taken care of. (Turns out the AC wasn’t actually on and it was just the fan that was blowing, so it wasn’t cooling. We aren’t familiar with the Nest system, so it took a minute to figure out the problem.) Even after we got that figured out, we struggled to keep it as cool as we would have liked because the system would default to a higher temp when we were gone/inactive and it would be warmer than we wanted upon our return. I will note that there are stairs up to the property from the (easily accessible) parking lot and then into the condo. It wasn’t an issue for us, but could be difficult for someone with mobility problems or very young children. Overall, it was a very nice stay! I was especially happy with the responsive and kind nature of the host.

Clean home. Very well located to enjoy all the amenities. Owner very responsive to my questions. Very comfortable home away from home.
