Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Greater Bilbao

We had a weekend the whole family. Toñi is very attentive. The house is very nice, and it has everything, the barbecue and the porch are a delight. Highly recommended. We've been very comfortable.

What a wonderful stay we had in your beautiful home! There was everything we needed including a fabulous shower with good water pressure and tons of hot water. It was like having a home away from home. We stayed for 5 weeks and explored the entire Basque region by car, from Santander to Burgos to Pamplona to San Sebastian and Bearritz/Bayonne. This home is centrally located and Berango itself offers a nice small town neighborhood feeling. The metro is close by but we found driving into Bilbao more convenient. It's also close to some fine beaches. Garbiña is a terrific host -- very friendly, funny and caring. We hope to return again.

Lourdes was very welcoming and friendly, spacious accommodation for our group of 18 people. Each room has its own bathroom which is very convenient when there are many people. The house is in a very good location. The only downside, but for which Lourdes is not responsible, is the barking of the dogs in the neighbourhood late into the night. We had a great time! Thanks!

Space was spotless, views were incredible, beaches walkable. Gorka was incredibly responsive and Igor made checking in a breeze. We picked up fresh fish and steak from the market in Bilbao and really enjoyed the charcoal grill. We loved watching the tides roll in and out of the estuary from the deck. The view changes by the hour!

Super spot, close to the beach and not far from the center of Sopela! When we were there there was quite a bit of parking, so that was cool. I would recommend.

Mikel was very responsive and met us outside to drive with us into the car parking and to show us around the property.The apartment is as listed and is a short bus or subway drive to the center of Bilbao. Would highly recommended this property.

Very nice stay. Very neat in the mountains. Not so easy to find the first time, but once you know it, it's not difficult! Wonderful location with mountain views. Everything is spick and span and beautifully arranged. Host was also very accessible in case of problems!

We had a great stay at Juan Manuel's apartment. Everything was very clean and well appointed. We were able to reach everything from there on foot. Juan Manuel was always available, very friendly, helpful and flexible. I would stay there again at any time!

Nekane has everything very well planned, her house is impeccable and everything is very well organized down to the smallest detail. The stay was very comfortable, you feel at home. She knows how to take care of the people she receives and treats them in a great way. Communication with Nekane has been splendid and adapts to your particular case, I recommend this accommodation for everything, thank you for everything Nekane.

The apartment is impeccable, beautiful, extremely clean, as per the cleaning standards of Brazilians. Wonderful bed and shower, Alberto is helpful and friendly. We will certainly recommend the apartment to our family and friends.

The apartment is simply very nice, modern and very clean. The location is fantastic, you can walk to the metro station in about 6 minutes, from there you can go in all directions. I recommend buying a "Barik Card", it costs 3 euros and can be topped up at the machine. With this card, you can travel very cheaply by metro and bus. You only need one ticket for 2 people, which you scan when boarding the metro and bus. I would rent the apartment again. Thank you Natxo for the lovely stay.

Our stay was wonderful. The apartment is very cozy, full of details that make the stay perfect. In addition, it is in a quiet area with beautiful views, perfect for disconnecting. I would highlight Janire's kindness, the cleanliness of the accommodation, the comfort of the bed and the pressure of the shower. As a point of improvement, I only highlight the lack of curtains in the bedroom window, as it makes it a little more difficult to sleep. Highly recommended!!!

Arrival, Hop on Bus @ airport exit to get to place cheaply €2. And easy. Apartment spotless and comfortable. Felt like home. It has an ELEVATOR! Great to have after walking all day even if on 1st floor. He stored our luggage at noon, What an unexpected kindness in Airbnb. Stepping outside across street is a Taxi stop which was perfect for my husband’s airport trip at 6am. The cars line up all day and it doesn’t affect the peacefulness of the neighborhood. Taxi park there due to the proximity to train and bus station 1/4 of a block away. Taxi to airport €27 and bus 4 people was €2 using the metro card. (Enter station left side go to the right @ end enter turns w/ card & go down, door 3 shows LARGE plane icon (easy). Suggest 1 card for family & pass it along as you enter. Corner restaurant great for breakfast. Had fresh juice, flat white perfect & pinchos fresh/tasty €23 for hungry family of 5 great price. Train stop San Mamés 2 minute walk to front door 100% will be back to this place.

Ana was incredibly helpful and responsive, the property was immaculately clean with everything we needed. You can either walk or use the nearby train station to go to the old town for some pinxos! Would stay here again, thank you Ana :)

The apartment was super clean and exactly as shown in the photos. Very well located in an area with lots of bars and restaurants but zero noise. And the area, of course, is beautiful.

It’s a good sleep there, apartments decorated very new.have all the appliances for cooking.

We absolutely loved our stay at Josu’s apartment. It’s beautifully decorated, spacious, and equipped with everything you might need — we especially appreciated the dryer, vacuum cleaner, dishwasher, and iron. It truly felt like home. The location is also fantastic: it took us about 20 minutes to walk to both the city center and the old town. There's a large park just a few minutes away, which was perfect for our dog. A great supermarket is right around the corner, and there’s an entrance to an underground train line in the next building - super convenient for getting into the city. Parking was a bit tricky to find at first, but we managed just fine. There is also an option of paid parking nearby, which is helpful if you prefer something a bit easier :) Honestly, we couldn’t have asked for more. We also accidentally left a jacket behind while checking out and Josu was incredibly kind and responsive in helping us get it back.❤️

Our stay in Getxo was beautiful. The views are stunning, the entire town is lovely. It was an easy nice walk to the apartment from the metro. We walked along side the cliffs to the cute restaurants and had a bite at the pub on the end which was delicious and the staff are very friendly. Our host was very responsive and sweet. She went above and beyond to assist us with calling a cab and making sure we got to our next destination on time. Thank you so much for opening your home to us!

Very nice apartment! Very quiet place. Host responds very quickly, very friendly. We moved to the centre of Bilbao by metro, I think it's the best, punctual, you get to the historic centre in 30 minutes. We left the car parked on the street near the apartment. Very comfortable bed. Kitchen with dishes for cooking and so on. Highly recommended!!

Nahi is a great hostess! She accomodated my late arrival and was kind to bring some stuff for my cat. The apartment is spacious and neat, contains all necessary things to make you feel like home. The area is quite and cozy with some local shops and bars nearby. Highly recommend if you want to stay outside of busy city centre, and do not mind exploring Bilbao's surroundings.

We stayed at Roberto's place on our trip to Bilbao and we loved it. It is not in the centre of Bilbao but it is right next to the metro and can be in Bilbao city centre/old town very quickly. The flat was tidy and had everything we needed, including a nice outdoor terrace area to relax on nice summer evenings. To address what other reviews have said, it is a bit loud at times but we never had any trouble when it came to bedtime and often found ourselves enjoying the noise of the hustle and bustle of the Basque streets. Parking was a little difficult but we always managed to find a spot. Roberto was very communicative and helped us find the apartment easily. Overall we would recommend this as a place to stay for your trip to Bilbao
