What a beautiful pristine place to stay! Very crazy and comfortable! Slept so good and listen the birds sing! Had a great place to get my work caught up and close to town! Truly enjoyed the stay! Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful couple of days. Its was a lovely private cabin and my partner had a great time soaking in the big bathtub.

Perfect weekend getaway. Sarah and Clint were so welcoming and kind. Pristine facilities and situated in a beautiful location, just out of Yeppoon but a very short drive. Myself and my dog stayed for two nights and it was wonderful. Sarah goes above and beyond to make her guests feel at home. The room was clean, comfy and homey! It was the perfect area to relax and de-stress. As a younger female, I really felt welcomed, safe and at home staying with Sarah and Clint. I will definitely be back, it is great to know there is this accomodation available for the future - bonus is it is pet friendly!! Thank you x 100 for the lovely stay!!

Cosy little jungle lodge fully self contained. Everything has been thought which made our stay so easy and comfy. Loved exploring the creek and jungle on the property.

The house is very comfortable. Great beds and pillows. There is good security and a backyard that was perfect for our dog. The air conditioning is very good and the house is screened to keep out tropical bugs.

The location of the house and even just the entertainment area out back made this stay one to remember. Lots of memories made, even saw a platypus is the lake early one morning!

I would highly recommend Chrissy’s beach house, it was very clean and homely , I rented for my parents and sister with there lovable miniature poodle and house an yard was perfect for them all , thanks again Chrissy x

What a fantastic place to stay. The place was incredibly well furnished with a full kitchen and all of the utensils you could need to create great meals at home. The house was very private and quiet and within walking distance to the shops. They have gone above and beyond with all of the incredibly thoughtful extra touches that made our stay such a joy, like the welcome goodies spices for cooking, stubbie coolers, games and umbrellas at the front door. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and offered a number of suggestions for our stay and always quick to respond if we had any questions. Thank you so much Alister & Sheena for making it such a fabulous getaway, we plan to be back again!

We loved our stay. Perfect, peaceful getaway! The outlook was spectacular having the beach right on your doorstep was amazing! Had the best sleep with the sound of the waves!

Staying at Marco’s Airbnb was an absolute pleasure! Marco was incredibly responsive, friendly, and helpful from the moment we booked until the end of our stay. Communication was smooth and easy, and he made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The home itself is beautiful, clean, and thoughtfully designed—you can really tell that care has been put into every detail. It felt welcoming and peaceful, the perfect place to relax and unwind. Highly recommend Marco’s place for anyone looking for a wonderful stay with a host who truly goes above and beyond!

Melissa is a great host, and her home is the perfect home away from home. We were given early check in and was also able to book another night with late notice. The home in Boynoe Island feels like home as soon as you walk in. From the takeaway coffee cups to the chopped wood for the fire pit. It's a short walk to the sound of the ocean and fresh ocean breeze!

The Sugar Shack is a charming and truly comfortable oasis of calm and beauty convenient to much of what the Port Douglas and surrounding region has to offer. Everything about the shack is as described, clean, functional and easy to use. Importantly at this time of the year (December) when the heat and humidity have kicked in the shack is easily cooled. No surprises. Great atmospheric views of the mountains and plenty of interesting bird life around the property. Beautiful creek with clear water. An additional bonus was being able to bring along our young retriever and watch her enjoy the freedom of the well-kept paddocks and the security of a fenced cottage garden around the shack. Delicious eggs from their contented hens too! Kylie (who met us) and Nicki were efficient and friendly and very helpful with their local knowledge and the entire experience was very welcoming. Great hosts!

It is a pleasure to write a 5 star review for Suzette’s cottage. Staying in the cottage was like taking a step back in time, yet it had everything I needed. The attention to detail, both in the house and the surrounding gardens is impressive. Very private and peaceful setting, clean and very friendly host. Would love to come back if visiting in the area again.

We would have happily stayed for longer than our 3 nights. The cottage was spacious, clean and well equipped, and would have to be one of the most peaceful locations we've ever stayed. Loved the bird life and the beautiful garden.

We absolutely loved our stay at Jill’s Cottage — it was our favorite accommodation of the trip! Located on a quiet, private road shaded by trees, the cottage is just a short stroll from the beach and feels like a true island retreat. We spent our evenings on the veranda. The setting is peaceful and very private, perfect for relaxing. Ben, the co-host, was there to greet us on arrival and made check-in smooth and easy. We would come back in a heartbeat!

Such a lovely space to stay. Very peaceful and felt very isolated from the main house. Beautiful view over their gardens and trees. Super clean and everything you might need. Loved their little dog Jessie who would pop over to visit. We were also lucky enough to receive some fresh eggs from their hens which were delicious. Really enjoyable space to relax and BBQ in the evening. Close drive to Port Douglas, but lovely being away in the country. Would 100% recommend to stay.

Lovely quaint cottage with all amenities and a beautiful sense of history ! Lovely little place in a gorgeous country town.

Hibiscus Cottage was a great base for our stay in the Cape Tribulation region, north of the Daintree River. The property is very peaceful and private with beautiful trees and gardens around the house and tropical rainforest all around. Lots of bird song. The cottage is very comfortable and has all the amenities you need. The tropical fruit breakfast provided at Epiphyte B&B was enjoyable and a great way to connect with some fellow travellers each morning. The cottage is in a great location - close to Cow Bay, good restaurants nearby for dinner and a spectacular drive up to Cape Tribulation. Matt was very informative and provided us with great ideas to enjoy our time in the region including forest walks, beach walks, creeks, tours and local restaurants and cafes. Altogether, a great stay in a beautiful and unique region of Australia.
